I was born and grew up in Yokohama. I used to work in Tokyo for more than 20 years. I became the National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter in English in 2013. At first, I had attended a volunteer group which provided a tour of the Imperial Palace East Gardens until 2015. I guided more than fifty times in the garden as a volunteer and studied about Japanese history and culture. Based on this experience, I became a tour guide of this online site in 2015. Since then, I have guided more than 500 tours in Tokyo as well as Yokohama, Kamakura, Hakone, Kyoto, Nikko, etc., while improving my tours. My tours are very flexible and I always do my best to customize them according to the interests of my guests. I studied about the places and will provide you knowledge to appreciate them deeper than just visiting there by yourself or a member of big group tours. I am Fumie Ueda, a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter in Atami, Shizuoka, only 50 minutes away from Tokyo by Shinkansen trains. Atami is conveniently located at the foot of the Hakone mountains, and the base of the Izu Peninsula. It is also close to Mt. Fuji and the Shimizu Port in Shizuoka. I am excited to show you around beautiful places that I love. I grew up in Yokohama, spent 1 year as a high school exchange student in Allentown, PA in the US, went to college and lived/worked in Tokyo for about 10 years before coming to this beautiful onsen resort. Great views of Mount Fuji and strolling in the nostalgic areas of an old town are available. And also, the snow monkey park is not very far. “A Full Day at Mt. Fuji and the Surrounding Area”
Nobu did a fantastic job keeping our family of 7 on schedule to see Mt. Fuji, two temples and even Oshino Hakkai all in the same day! He was friendly and helpful as well as an excellent navigator who drove us to all of these wonderful places. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and definitely recommend Nobu!

Fuji area, but not so easy for tourists to visit them due to the poor public transportations. “Great Mt. Fuji Trip”
Our family of 4 persons took a 1-day private van excursion to Mt. Fuji with Kaori-san and her photographer husband. Kaori-san created a custom itinerary where we visited some great local spots (had the best ice cream ever) and overall we had a relaxing and informative trip. She arranged pick up and drop off from our hotel in central Tokyo, so the logistics were very smooth. Highly recommend this option for anyone who wants a more unique and simple Mt. Fuji experience.

“Great day with Ryohei and Fuji-san”
Ryohei was amazing. He was so helpful to work with before our trip, offering suggestions and info as I tried to make our ideal list of stops. That day, he recommended that we flip the itinerary to maximize chances of seeing Mt Fuji. We were lucky with on and off views, and he added a couple of extra stops as we went along as he got to know our interests. Would 100% recommend him!
