Kon-ni-chi-wa. Hello! I'm Kaori, having lived in Tokyo for more than 20 years since I got married to a photographer who lives here. Originally from Shizuoka prefecture which has Mt.Fuji, the highest mountain in Japan. I took 2 working-holiday-visa stays in my younger days. One is in Toronto, Canada, and another is Australia touring by motorcycle. One year respectively. I love travel both international and domestic. That's why I love helping individual travelers rather than group tours, because I myself love travel freely. Love nature, gardens, trekking, greenery, also anime. My favorite is taking you to the off-the-beaten tracks where I love. As a national government licensed guide, I've got deep knowledge of Japanese culture and history. I was born and grew up in Yokohama. I used to work in Tokyo for more than 20 years. I became the National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter in English in 2013. At first, I had attended a volunteer group which provided a tour of the Imperial Palace East Gardens until 2015. I guided more than fifty times in the garden as a volunteer and studied about Japanese history and culture. Based on this experience, I became a tour guide of this online site in 2015. Since then, I have guided more than 500 tours in Tokyo as well as Yokohama, Kamakura, Hakone, Kyoto, Nikko, etc., while improving my tours. My tours might be better with people who LOVE TO WALK, have STAMINA and keen to learn about the culture. Now I live within a walking distance from Ueno Park, Tokyo, so I see a lot of International tourists walking around in my neighborhood every day. (PLEASE CHECK EACH TOUR. The expenses are spelled out, too.) "Tokyo is larger than we thought and the transportations are so complicated," Swedish guys told me. I'm here to help you. I know well about Tokyo, Yokohama, Yamanashi etc. and I travel most of the parts of Japan. I would appreciate if you could see more sightseeing spots with me as your guide and enjoy your stay. I love to answer your questions, even though I became nearly breathless when I was with American guests, a family of three, curiously asking me questions after questions:-) I appreciated their interest in Japan very much. I also go mountain trekking for nearly thirty years. I've been to the summit of Mt. Fuji and Mt. Kitadake three times. Talking about Mt. Takao, maybe more than fifty times. Fuji is and it is only 2 hours bus riding from Tokyo. In my spare time, I hike and play badminton. I also like spending time with my two cats in my free time. “Mt. Fuji Custom Private Tour with Luxury Van”
Despite the wet weather and not being able to see Mt. Fuji, we had a great experience! We went to Chureito Pagoda, Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen, Kawaguchiko Lake for lunch, Torii in the Sky and the Wind and Ice Caves. We had plenty of time to explore each area without feeling rushed. Miyuki was our driver - she was amazing at navigating the roads up the mountain and very kind and polite. The food at the restaurant that was recommended by Fuji Limousine was also really good. Too bad the weather didn't cooperate - but something we knew could happen because we came here during the rainy season. Just means that we'll have to come back another time! Jenny

“Chinami is the BEST!!”
We had 2 half day tours with Chinami. She is so knowledgeable, loves this area, knows about all the culture and picks the best restaurants!! We did a sake brewery tour that is a must do! So fun, the sake guide was great and the sake was absolutely delicious! The Itchiku Kubota Art Museum was beautiful and explained the history of Itchiku Kubota and his art of creating kimono designs. We are a family of 4 from Texas and Chinami was so easy to allow us to change plans and decide our exact design of how we wanted our days to look. I can't express enough what a wonderful woman and human being Chinami is!
