Meeting Point
Hotel around Lake Kawaguchi
- We are able to pick you up at a hotel around Lake Kawaguchi or surroundings. Please notice me about your hotel location before the tour starts.
Oshino Hakkai
Oshino Hakkai is known as a registered world heritage spot.This Old Village has some ancient Japanese houses with traditional style and eight clear ponds whose water comes up from underground.
Kitaguchi Hongu Sengen Shrine
The most major shrine on the north side of Mt. Fuji. A lot of ancient trees here. I can explain you about history, nature and shinto here.
Lunch by guide's recommendation
I will take your group to my recommended restaurant based on your request such as local food, ramen, or tempura.

Lake Kawaguchi & Oishi park
Oishi park is the most famous park around Lake Kawaguchi. They have season changed flower garden. Always good to see Mt. Fuji with Lake and some beautiful followers.
Iyashino Sato Saiko
This open style museum has typical old style Japanese housing. Nice to place to see old Japanese couture. You can see Mt. Fuji here when the weather is clear.
Ice Cave/Wind Cave & Aokigahara Forest
Fuji Erupted 1200 years ago, and it created huge forest down here. You can see all the lave was flowing in the old age. The unique forest is now exist on top of the laves. Ice Cave and Wind Cave are located in the forest. We can do some short nature walking too.
Lake Motosu with View of Mt. Fuji
Lake Motosu is one of the Fuji Five lakes located on west side of Mt. Fuji. I would say this is the most beautiful lake in the five. Nice spot to stop and take a family photo here.

“A wonderful tour guide - fluent in English, knowledgeable about Mt. Fuji and area”
Ryohei was a fantastic tour guide! Our family was a group of 4 adults visiting from Canada. Ryohei was great to work with to customize an itinerary. Even after the research I did in the area, his suggested itinerary is was what we ended up going with. Although I considered traveling locally on our own, having him as a tour guide was the best decision we could have made. There was no guesswork and no wasted time trying to navigate local transportation. His English is excellent. He has a friendly demeanor and our group was very comfortable asking him questions. He offered to take photos for us and made recommendations on local businesses to visit or restaurants to eat at. Everything he recommended was as great as he described it would be. He was flexible about staying longer in some locations or taking detours to other locations. He was very punctual and picked our group up at our accommodations in Fujiyoshida. He kept us aware of our schedue and time constraints as well. His vehicle was clean and spacious. He also made additional accommodations for our group, which we very much appreciated. We couldn't recommend him enough.
