Discover in a half-day tour the magnificent Ramesseum Temple, the stunning Tombs of the Nobles, and the village of the Artisans at Deir El-Madinah with their beautiful tombs on the West Bank of Luxor with your professional tour guide.
At your hotel reception.
I will pick you up from your hotel to commence your tour to the Ramsseum Temple. It takes about 40 minutes to get there.
The Ramesseum Temple is the funerary temple of Pharaoh Ramses II, who ruled Egypt for about 67 years (1279-1213 BC). The name or at least its French form, Ramesseum was coined by Jean Francois Champollion, who visited the ruins of the site in 1829.
The temple is famous for its 17-meter seated statue of Ramses II (of which only fragments remain), it was dedicated to the god Amun and the deceased king. The design of the Ramesseum Temple adheres to the standard canons of New Kingdom temple architecture. Oriented northwest and southeast. The temple itself is comprised of two stone pylons (gateways, some 60 m wide), one after the other, each leading into a courtyard. Beyond the second courtyard, at the center of the complex, was a covered 48-column Hypostyle Hall, surrounding the inner sanctuary.
The Tombs of Nobles are scattered in different areas in the west bank of Luxor, for example, Sheikh Abdel-Qurna and Khokha just opposite of the Ramesseum temple, Dra Abu El-Naga, and Asassif nearby Hatshepsut’s Temple and Qurent Maraei just opposite of the Colossi of Memnon.
The tombs of Nobles are visited as a set/group of tombs, and the main subject of the reliefs is everyday life in Ancient Egypt.
From the Tombs of Nobles to Deir El-Madinah.
Around 4 km south of the Kings Valley lies the Valley of the Artisans or Deir El-Madinah.
The region was given the name Deir El-Madinah or (City Monastery) when its temple was converted to a monastery. The town had been devoted to the Kings’ Valley craftsmen and their families. The community is one of the few still extant ancient settlements. It has more than 74 houses and is divided into two major parts or suburbs.

Luxor Full Day Tour: West And East Banks With Lunch
“Awesome day”
Essam showed us around luxor for a day. He arranged everything, and picked us up at the airport. Halfway through the day it was hot, everyone wanted to go for a swim so he arranged a boat to take us up the river where we all went swimming. He also did all of this on very short notice, as we arranged it only 24hrs prior to arriving. It was an awesome day. Nate
