The Eagle's Nest is located next to the summit of Mount Kehlstein. It is one of the few original buildings from the time of the Third Reich here on Obersalzberg, the second seat of government of the Nazi regime besides Berlin. Learn more about the darkest chapter in German history and how it came about that a former farming area developed into Hitler's preferred residence.

Onward journey to Lake Königssee

Especially for children an exciting experience is a visit to the Berchtesgaden Salt Mine. On a guided tour, you drive into the interior of the mountain on original mine railways, slide down on wooden slides and cross an underground lake on a wooden raft.

Herrenchiemsee Palace is one of the royal castles of the Bavarian King Ludwig II, idyllically located on an island in the picturesque Lake Chiemsee. Transportation will be carried out with a Volkswagen Sharan that is licensed as taxi. The vehicle has air conditioning and a glass panoramic roof so that you have an excellent view of the sights from all seats. The 3rd seat row has less foot space but is comfortable for 2 passengers up to 175 cm/70 inches.
