Fenicians, Romans, Muslims, Christians, Jews, all those passes through Lisbon, changed the city and left their marks: the alphabet, the numbers, the architecture, the tiles, the poetry, the wine and the pastry. Come and join in a walking tour through Alfama, the neighbourhood where Fado was born. A magnificent opportunity to discover Lisbon in the perspective of a local guide. The tour will end in the restaurant Fama de Alfama, with a concert by Joana Amendoeira, Júlio Resende, among others.

We will start at Terreiro de Paço and then we will visit Alfama, Sé and the roman theatre. We will end at restaurant Fama de Alfama,

The tour ends in the restaurant Fama D'Alfama, with a fado concert.

Lisbon is an ancient city and Phoenicians, Romans, Muslims, Catholics passed through this city all left their mark in heritage, words and food. Lisbon was also a city of spies. Even the real James Bond ( yes, it was a real James Bond) lived here and worked here.
So, if you want to join me in this journey, I offer you, in Lisbon, 2 tours: a tour to discover the old town of Lisbon and a spy tour, focusing on world war II. But if you want to experience a magical place, I'll take you
to Pena Palace. Pena Palace is a must-see, in the beautiful, romantic and world heritage, Sintra Village.

“Wonderful Guide!”
I cannot imagine how we could have gone to Cabo Da Roca, Sintra and Pena Palace without Marisa. She was delightful, her English is excellent and we had a fabulous day. All places were crowded but she was able to maneuver us everywhere with minimal waiting. I highly recommend her!! Anne O'Connell

“Day in Lisbon”
We had a wonderful day with Marisa in Lisbon. She took us all over the city, showing us important and interesting sites. She is a former teacher and PhD candidate and knows a great deal about many subjects. In addition, she is charming and easy to be with. We had a memorable day with Marisa and highly recommend her to anyone who would like a walking tour of Lisbon.
