The meeting point at the train station is followed by a walking tour passing by the neo Manueline Town Hall, the public garden of the Liberdade, and the neo Arab fountain.
Royal Palace of Sintra
Visit the Royal Palace of Sintra with its courtyards and rooms filled with Hispanic and Arabic tiles. As this palace was built in stages, it describes the history of Portugal from the first dynasty until the proclamation of the republic in 1910. Its huge chimneys have become a tourist symbol of Sintra.
Villa Sassetti

My name is Rute and I am a qualified tour guide since 1992. I completed my training at the "Instituto Novas Profissões" in Lisbon in 1992 and I am officially registered under the number 01/114. For 11 years I have been guiding groups in English, German, and Italian all over Portugal but since 2003 I do sightseeing tours in Lisbon and its surroundings like Sintra, the Estoril Coast, Mafra and Arrábida mountain. In the last two years, I specialized in gardens, native and exotic plants in Portugal.
