Being a native from Villefranche-sur-Mer, in the heart of the French Riviera, a little fishermen's village located right between Nice and Monaco and facing the world-famous Cap Ferrat, I grew up in the valley outside Nice and started to discover the cities of the Côte d'Azur as a young boy with my parents and family, later on as a teenager with my friends. After studying corporate public relations, I had one of the best opportunity of my life, something that I secretly always wished, to go live in United States, working for the famous Sun Valley ski resort for two years in Idaho as a restaurant and banquet manager. When I came back to Nice, I went back to school to be graduated as a French professional tour guide and lecturer in English and Spanish, then i started to work as a tour guide in different tour companies and quickly decided to face a new challenge by opening a tour guide company that will look more like me, which means showing my region as a local to my clients and make sure they feel as with friends, all along their stay, not just when they are with me for the tour. Providing private professional guided tours today for shore excursions or visitors staying in various hotels in Cannes, Monaco or Nice is obviously the greatest and most enjoyable job that suit me, as natural and sincere I can be, it pushes me on being exceptionally great every day because my guest deserves so much coming from so far to discover our region, i only have one day to stay in their memories for a very long time, showing you the best places around the French Riviera. Here are the reviews from my past guests: Guest1: Sarak was recommended to us by someone who had travelled to Siem Reap pre-pandemic and we're so grateful for the recommendation. He's very patient and knowledgeable and we learnt such a great deal from him about the country's rich history (most of our own had been confined to the late twentieth- and twenty-first century). We had experienced some trouble with purchasing tickets online and Sarak drove us to the ticket office to pick them up and the process was seamless. We did a one-day tour with Sarak, which included the Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm, Bayon, and more. Sarak speaks excellent English and is really knowledgeable about the cultural and religious history of the various places we visited. The trip was comfortable and pleasant, and it was great not to have to worry about transport. Definitely recommending him to others who intend to visit Siem Reap. Date of experience: November 2022 Guest2: I spent 2 wonderful days with Sarak. He showed me in a private tour all the importante temples around Siem Reap. 1st day: Angkor Wat, Bayon Temple, Chau Say Tevoda, Ta Nei, Ta Prohm and on 2nd day: Preah Khan, Neak Poan, East Mebon, Banteay Samre and Banteay Srei. He knows all the historical details and history and all legends and stories with Hinduism & Buddhism gods and religion. He is a really good storyteller and it isn't boring to hear all the details. He linked the stories with the different temples and the appropriate rock carvings. The driver drove us safely from temple to temple. Back in the vehicle he was waiting for us with water and refreshing towels. We had Lunch in local Restaurants. The food was delicious! I am happy and satisfied that I could do the two tours with Sarak. I am very happy to recommend him! Date of experience: February 2023

In addition to visiting famous temples and shrines, I invite you to lesser-known places of historic interest. Once in a month I go hiking or mountain climbing with some friends mainly in mountains surrounding Kyoto and Nara basins. Recently I have got intrigued by the charms of Buddhist statues, which are manifestations of people's wishes and prayers. I also like izakaya (Japanese-style taverns) hopping, tasting delicious dishes and locally brewed sake at reasonable prices. Especially I like communicating with people from home and abroad, talking face to face. Some of the above-mentioned elements are included in my walking tours. I hope you will discover new aspects of cultural and natural beauty in Kansai area through one of my tours which you could never gain otherwise. One of my favorite phrases that come from Zen Buddhism is Ichigo Ichie or this meeting-but only once in a lifetime. My interpretation goes this way: This place and this moment never cross again.
