Discover Spanish food and Barcelona history. As we stroll through narrow back alleys and across historic squares, we will learn about Barcelona from Roman times to the medieval golden era. With three stops in distinct restaurants I will also show you the broad variety of tapas!

Paseo del Born
This part of El Born has become a trendy neighbourhood with fancy cocktail bars and great restaurants. Still it kept a very authentic atmosphere.
1st Food Stop: Basque Style Pinchos
Pinchos have conquered all of Spain. The word actually means "cocktail stick" - thus these are small snacks - usually a slice of baguette with a topping - from seafood to cheese or ham to sausages. The creativity is endless!
Palau Dalmases & Picasso Museum
Let's discover the area with beautiful Gothic palaces from the 15th century that are in a remarkable state.
Quarter of Medieval Craftsmen
Just around the corner we will find many unique stores that offer handmade products from Barcelona. They keep the tradition even after 500 years!
Santa Maria del Mar
One of the most beautiful churches in Barcelona from the 14th century that was built in a record time of 50 years.
2nd Food Stop: Traditional Tapas
Let's try a broader range of Spanish tapas. I will explain the food to you and we will make a choice together what to order! No worries in case you are vegetarian. There are sufficient options.
The tapas bar is known for its regionality - all the food comes from local fields and farms. We will try a variety of elaborated and high quality tapas.
Gothic Quarter - the oldest Catholic Church
At a picturesque, historic square we will encounter the oldest Catholic Church in Barcelona with its origins around the year 400!
Plaça Sant Jaume - the heart of Roman Barcelona
Let's dive into the Roman history of the city. Barcelona was founded more than 2000 years ago.
The medieval Jewish Quarter
Within the Jewish Quarter we will not only find fascinating history but also the oldest residential building of Barcelona constructed in 1378 and people are still living there.
Final Food Stop: Churros con Chocolate - THE Spanish dessert
To finish our food experience with a dessert stop!
