Pickup at your hotel
From your hotel we will go to Placa d´Espanya train station
Placa d´Espanya
We will take the train from here towards Montserrat
Arrival in Montserrat
We take the rack railway from Monistrol de Montserrat. That beautiful train ride takes around 20 minutes
Visit to the Montserrat basilica
Enjoy the splendor of the basilica of the monastery.
Visit to Montserrat Museum
Explore the history, present and future of Montserrat monastery
Lunchtime
We will enjoy a lunch at Mirador dels Apostols. Incl. a drink.
Funicular up to Sant Joan
We can enjoy the beauty of the mountain up at Sant Joan. We will walk around incl a visit to a viewpoint with a 360d view.
Back to Montserrat
We take the funicular back down to the monastery where we can take another 10-15 minutes to roam around
Racktrain back to Monistrol de Montserrat followed by the train to Barcelona
Arrival at Placa d´Espanya is around 19:00h.
The end of the tour
You can opt for an extension for Barna by night, a walk which lasts until 22:30 incl. a small dinner.
