I explore different faces of Barcelona endlessly. I share life hacks of living in the heart of Catalonia and the secrets of interesting trips on the pages of my social networks and during tours. I show Barcelona from a new unusual side. On this side there is a life, bright and honest stories from the past, problems and joys of the rebellious region, progressive novelties, interesting traditions and art of Barna.

When I left my hometown Düsseldorf in 1999 to move to Barcelona, the Catalan capital was rather a polluted, shady and even dangerous industrial site than the trendy and cosmopolitan tourist destination it is nowadays. I came into town as a photographer and event manager and despite of Barcelona's guff post-industrial charm I was instantly overwhelmed by the creativity and passion of its people, their way of seeing things and to live their lives. With the time I got more and more attracted by tourism and achieved work experience as a property manager and travel consultor. Finally, I launched my own little travel consultancy in 2016 and since that I am offering luxury accommodations, DMC / concierge services and a wide range of day tours and group activities. My core business are private day tours from Barcelona to destinations like Girona, Tarragona, Sitges, Vic, Besalú or areas like Costa Brava, Penedés or Priorat. My mission is to leave the beaten path and to make my customers discover unique historical sites, beautiful landscapes, vibrant street life and amazing food and wine experiences. For the tour we use a comfy, private SUV that fits 4 passengers + driver / guide. The tours can be done in English, Spanish, French and German and they can generally be customised to meet the interests and needs of the group at any time. During the tour you get an idea of the long and diverse history of the sites, local traditions s.a. insights about lifestyle, culture and social concerns.

Guiding epitomizes the art of sharing, where every interaction enriches life with passion and purpose ;-) Embracing a life of adventure and cultural exploration, I've called Denmark, Germany, Austria, and Ecuador home while pursuing my career in International Commerce. Armed with a Business Degree and a deep love for the great outdoors, I've also taken on the role of an official Hiking and Cycling guide. For the past two decades, Barcelona has been my sanctuary, where I've found joy in immersing myself in its vibrant culture and welcoming atmosphere. Traveling has always been my greatest inspiration, fueling my desire to extend hospitality to others, just as it was graciously extended to me. Among Barcelona's many treasures, I find solace in scaling the majestic cliffs and spires of Montserrat's North face, a natural wonder that never fails to awe me. But equally captivating is the simple pleasure of losing myself amidst the cobblestone alleys of the Gothic quarter, pedaling my way to the tranquil shores of the Mediterranean. My mission is to curate experiences that blend nature, sport, tradition, and history, offering travelers the opportunity to forge lasting memories and connections. Whether it's hiking through rugged landscapes, cycling along scenic routes, or delving into the city's rich tapestry of stories, I'm ready to guide you on an unforgettable journey of discovery.

Hi, I am a Spanish guide from Valencia and Helsinki. I work as a guide for Spanish, English, and Finnish-speaking groups. I can also speak Catalan, although my native language is Spanish. I have a master's degree in art history from the University of Valencia and completed a professional career in orientation services at Perho (Finland). I also hold a tourist guide certificate issued by the General Directorate of Tourism of the Generalitat, which allows me to work as a guide throughout the Valencian Community. I have two years of experience in the field, and I currently work for various companies. I would like to offer my guiding services to you. For example, I manage the production and implementation of guided services and act as a specialized guide (e.g., bike tours). I am particularly familiar with the destinations of Valencia and Helsinki. In my work, I pay attention to the needs of special groups and safety issues. I also have training as a bus driver and a driving license, which I can use if necessary. As a person, I am a friendly, social interpreter with an entertaining style. I enjoy telling stories and am particularly interested in history, art, and the curiosities that different places hold. I have received excellent feedback from my professors and on my exams for my fun approach to conducting tours and highlighting interesting details. I would be happy to work with you if the situation allows. I would be delighted to tell you more about the services I offer.

Spain Tour Reviews
Genene M.
“Phillippe Your Go To!!”
The tours of Sagrada Familia and Park Guell were wonderful and the narrative Phillipe provided was excellent, on point, and insightful. The moment that remains most vivid in our minds is Phillipe’s explanation of the way the engineering enables the light to transform the Sagrada space. Phillippe took the time to slow the pace and increase the volume for our elderly father. He was patient and I would HIGHLY recommend him for any excursion .

“Fabulous Day with Jordy”
Our day trip with Jordy to the Costa Brava was perfect! We enjoyed strolling botanical gardens, an amazing scenic hike along the coast, and a visit to a medieval village with lunch in a local favorite restaurant. Jordy was very knowledgeable and personable, flexible to accommodate our wishes, and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our day! A true highlight of our trip!
