This is an enjoyable private tour to know the essence of Madrid in the most complete and authentic way.
We’ll visit the most iconic streets, squares and landmarks, passing by traditional food markets, palaces and gardens. We’ll walk along the local commercial streets where we’ll know cozy centennial shops and old taverns working for the last 150 years.
By doing a private tour, I will take you to the nicest places for taking the best memorable pictures, and we can even sit where the locals go for an Iberian ham snack, a cup of hot chocolate with churros pastries at the unmissable San Ginés chocolate shop, and visit the oldest restaurant in the world recognized by Guiness Records Book: must-see Botín, and see its kitchen from inside. Along the way we’ll discover legendary shops where Spanish fans are handmade together with the capital’s famous delicacies, like nougats and violet candies.
While we wander through Madrid’s fascinating historic centre, I’ll regale you with interesting anecdotes about the capital’s past, traditions and folklore that live on in the convents, boulevards, churches and theaters.
