Hello, I'm Taka.
Tokyo is my hometown all through my life, and I know many interesting places and things to do, which are not yet introduced in the travel books. It will be a real pleasure sharing my knowledge with you.
Tokyo is a truly exciting and multi-dimensional city. I can offer you unique and memorable experiences here in Tokyo. How about walking along some back streets and taste some local delicacies? Or try Sake and Japanese wine?
I have been in broadcasting business for over 30 years, and as a TV director I have made a countless coverage trips all around the globe.
Also I am a professional winemaker in the Unites States, and stay in California during the harvest time every year, from September to November.
With my unique business back ground, I have decided to start my new business as a professional tour guide specializing in the Tokyo area.

This one-day walking tour is designed only for you, based on your interests. Whether it rains or the sun shines, I will be as flexible as possible. You can learn about Japanese history, culture and lifestyle. If you have no idea where to visit, I will suggest some places that meet your interests. And of course, you can enjoy traditional Japanese cuisines, such as Sushi, Tempura, Ramen, Yakitori and more. The maximum number people I can guide is 3 (please send me a message before you book me).

You might think, “Winery in Tokyo?” But the history of winemaking in Japan started in the 19th century. High-quality wines are produced in Japan and some labels have won the gold medal at an international wine competition in France. Let me introduce you a wine tour in Tokyo. The wineries are small. There are no vineyards. But it can be enjoyed as a half day fun trip inside Tokyo.

“Exceptional Guide and tours”

“Excellent- Second Day Tour Recap”
Taka was fantastic! He helped curate a perfect tour for my family. (Full transparency: We booked two full day tours either him- this is a review for Day 2.) I was very specific- I do not like crowds and I do not want to visit the same tourist attractions as everyone else. Taka delivered! I also wanted to find a very specific shrine and buy specific gifts and eat very specific food. I didn’t want to run all over the city looking for these items- using a guide made the experience less stressful and more memorable. My photos are amazing! I won’t give away my tour because I am proud of our unique and personalized experience, but know I would 100% book again with Taka.

“Excellent private tour- Day 1”
Taka was fantastic! He helped curate a perfect tour for my family. (Full transparency: We booked two full day tours either him- this is a review for Day 1.) I was very specific- I do not like crowds and I do not want to visit the same tourist attractions as everyone else. I had a fear of bringing home photos from the same toro gates- I wanted a unique experience. Taka delivered! I also wanted to incorporate history with food and shopping, with a particular focus on my older kids interests. Taka was also very flexible- my daughter wasn’t feeling very well and so we moved slower than anticipated. Taka did not care at all about the delays and instead expressed kind concern for her. I won’t give away my tour because I am proud of our unique and personalized experience, but know I would 100% book again with Taka.
