Tokyo is my hometown all through my life, and I know many interesting places and things to do, which are not yet introduced in the travel books. It will be a real pleasure sharing my knowledge with you.

I have been in broadcasting business for over 30 years, and as a TV director I have made a countless coverage trips all around the globe.
Also I am a professional winemaker in the Unites States, and stay in California during the harvest time every year, from September to November.
With my unique business back ground, I have decided to start my new business as a professional tour guide specializing in the Tokyo area.

This one-day walking tour is designed only for you, based on your interests. Whether it rains or the sun shines, I will be as flexible as possible. You can learn about Japanese history, culture and lifestyle. If you have no idea where to visit, I will suggest some places that meet your interests. And of course, you can enjoy traditional Japanese cuisines, such as Sushi, Tempura, Ramen, Yakitori and more. The maximum number people I can guide is 3 (please send me a message before you book me).

“Wonderful tour that met the needs of the entire family”
Taka is a wonderful guide. We travelled with 2 adult children (18 & 22), and we are in our 50s. Taka tailor made the tour to keep us all happy. He was flexible and gave us options, it was fabulous. We got to see so much - it would have taken us days and days. Tasks also great company, kind and funny! Thanks Taka, we had a splendid first day in Tokyo.

“First Day Tour of Tokyo”
This was our first trip to Japan. On our first full day in Tokyo we did a full day city tour with Taka. It was an excellent orientation to Tokyo. We toured four very distinct districts of the city. It was very time efficient to have Taka guide us through the subway system to areas we never would have found on our own. Taka is very personable and speaks great English. Highly recommend this tour!

“Crowning conclusion to our Trip to Japan thanks to Taka”
After my son and I had to cancel our first tour with Taka due to illness, we fortunately had the opportunity to reschedule the tour at the end of our trip to Japan. Taka is a great tour guide. He is very friendly, professional and responded to our wishes one hundred percent. Even short-term changes were no problem for him. We had a great day in Shibuy and Akihabara and learned a lot about the lives of young Japanese people. Thank you very much Taka, we will be back and Lennart is already planning a study year abroad in Japan.
