About Tour Guide Kozo Y.

Hello! I'm Kozo. I'm currently living in Chiba, which is one of the biggest cities in Japan and located in the suburbs of Tokyo. So, I can guide you to the sightseeing spots in Tokyo and the suburbs, which include Asakusa, Nikko, Kamakura, Hakone, Mt. Fuji, and more. In those places, you can experience traditional Japanese culture and beautiful sceneries.

I'm originally from Kobe, one of the major cities in the western part of Japan. So, if my schedule permits, I may also guide you to the attractive spots in Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, and Kobe.

I took a Master's degree in chemical engineering at the University of Tokyo and an MBA degree at the University of Massachusetts. I am a professional engineer in industrial engineering, an industrial safety consultant, a registered management consultant, and a licensed guide-interpreter. I have been working for a Japanese chemical company for many years. So, if you are interested not only in Japanese culture but also in technologies and businesses in Japan, I may be a good company. :)

As a part of my job as an engineer, I often travel outside Japan. The countries that I visited last year are Singapore, China, the United States, Mexico, Germany, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia. Among them, Singapore is my frequent destination. Also, in the past, I visited Spain, Italy, England, France, Hungary, India, Canada, Korea, Taiwan, etc. So, if you are from one of those countries, you may ask me how I felt when I visited your motherland. :)
