About Tour Guide Shinya E.
Hi, I am Shinya, a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter. I was born in Tokyo and brought up there. I have lived in Tokyo for more than 40 years. Since I am a Tokyoite, I am able to give you precious information about places which are not written on ordinary guide books. I would like to support you to make your trip in Japan much more fun and wonderful! I want to make you smile, surprise and happy throurgh the tour!
One of my favorite things to do is to see architecuture designed by famous architecs, such as Kuma Kengo, and Ando Tadao. I also like to see art works, such as paintings, Ukiyoe woodblock prints, and tea bowls, and something like that.
Lastly, I love tennis very much. I have been playing tennis for more than 40 years! I also love to watch tennis game! I have visited Melbourne in Australia to see the Australinan Open Tennis in 2020 just before Corona Pandemic. I visited New York to see the U.S. Open Tennis last summer in 2023.

Akihabara Walking Tour
Akihabara is famous for its Japan's largest electric appliance shopping district. On the other hand, this district is also the center of subculture. You will be able to enjoy watching efficiently a variety of shops specialized in manga/comics, figurines, animated films, and something like that. You will also enjoy a maid cafe where the maids are dressed in cute maid costumes. You will also enjoy animals cafe such as hedgehogs and owls. These unique cafes originated in Akihabara!

Whichever plan you choose, you will be able to visit the popular sightseeing destinations in the most efficiently way.
Art and Architecture Walking Tour in Tokyo
You will enjoy walking around Omotesando avenue and enjoy watching a lot of beautiful architectures designed by famous architects there. After watching a lot of nice architectures, you will visit 3 nice art museums; Nezu Museum, Mitsui Memorial Museum (or Musee Tomo), and Tokyo National Museum. Our tour with Shinya was great from start to finish. He made superb choices in what buildings to show us. I addition to famous landmarks, he covered some of his personal favorites. He has a deep love for the city and knowledge about it that was reflected in the tour. It was an excellent introduction to the city. We also appreciated that he communicated with us frequently about the pace and asked for our input.

“Amazing time, very knowledgeable ”
Shinya, took 10 of us all around akihabara area for 4 hours and not once did we have any issues. He was very knowledgeable, courteous, and even gave recommendations for other places in Japan to visit. Will eventually use his tour again when we return to Japan
