Kumano-Kodo Choishi-michi/One day tour
Walk one of World Heritage Kumano-Kodo trails "Choishi-michi" which is nearest to Osaka and Kyoto. It is an antient access way to Koyasan fonded by the great monk Kukai. Its name is coming from the 180 stupas (Choishi) stand along the trail, which people have been prayed to. The total distance is 22km, takes roughly 7 hours without transportation/rest if you have good physical ability. The trail mostly keeps its original style when opened.

I can't recommend Tomo any higher, he's a 10 out of 10!! We learned all about the Japanese culture as Tomo guided us up the sacred shrine. He truly is a amazing guide, hes very fluent in English and was teaching us Japanese on the way. We feel honored that we were allowed to experience this Japanese culture, we will never forget it

“Kyoto tour”
Our tour guide in Japan, Tomo-san, was absolutely wonderful, knowledgeable, so nice, kind, and genuinely helpful. He really knew his stuff and shared so many interesting stories and facts that made everything come alive. What stood out the most was how thoughtful and patient he was, always making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. It felt like we were exploring Japan with a friend.

Gigi, It was so amazing to see you and your brilliant boys, and it is my great honor to take you to the places I love. But this is just an entrance. I hope we will be touring again next spring to hunt Japanese Sakura cherry blossom in full bloom! Thank you so much!

“A fishing trip to remember...”
Thanks to Tomo my interest in going fishing in the mountains in Japan came true. Thankfully the autumn colours were on show surrounding the fishing location which was a bonus as we had not seen much colour during our tour of Japan. Tomo was a great help in arranging the entry to the fishing ponds and after we had caught enough then arranging for the fish to be prepared three ways for lunch, which was very delicious. Tomo has excellent English language skills, and is someone who is very easy to chat with, which made for a very enjoyable day. In terms of the overall day, I didn't plan enough after the fishing to get full use of the time available, although a detour to a shopping centre on the way back did allow us to stock up on packaged food items to bring back as treats. Overall, we were very happy that we had Tomo as our guide and the trout fishing and it's setting were very memorable. Whilst Tomo's passion is the outdoors (of which Japan has truly exceptional tracts of it), I would strongly recommend him as a guide for a range of tour options. Thank you Tomoe for a memorable day.

Nao O.
Hello! I'm Nao. I was born and raised in Himeji, which is famous for the Himeji Castle (egret castle). I'm guiding in Kyoto, Osaka, Nara and Hyogo (especially Kobe and Himeji). I'd been in the US for three years attending a university. During the stay I went to the Yellow Stone twice, and visited California. I took a summer French class for a month in Canada, so I speak French a little. I love travelling. I went to many places in Japan. I visited Hokkaido, Okinawa, Hiroshima, Kanazawa, Nikko, Mt. Fuji and so on. I love music ― pops, rock, gospel and classical music. I'm a fan of Beethoven. Some day I'd like to go to Vienna and visit his houses and the forest, where he composed "the Pastoral Symphony". There are lots of attractions in Japan. You can visit shrines, temples, deer park etc. You can enjoy USJ, river cruise, anime museum, Japanese sake, Onsen and of course delicious Japanese dishes. Let's have fun together !
