Also, I used to work at a hostel in Asakusa, so I'm quite familiar with Asakusa area.

“5 Stars for Dai”
5 stars for Dai. We decided to book a 2 day tour, broken into 4hrs and 6hrs. Dai arrived ahead of schedule and ready to go. He is well versed in travelling around the world and was able to relate to us with ease. He was quick to inform us of customs and practices to ensure we fitted in amongst the public transport system which we really liked. Day one, Dai not only got us around several key attractions, but he also showed us how to tackle the Tokyo metro, with the largest network in the world, within 2 days, from purchasing tickets, to reading maps, to finding the right exits and platforms. He was also happy to help offer advice and book future tickets for our other trips. His respect and politeness also taught us how to be part of the culture instead of pushing our way through the crowd. His knowledge of Japan, the history, religion, and network is thorough. He was able to interact easily with us and both our young girls (11 & 13) and made sure to point out aspects that he thought would be of particular interest to them. He was more than happy to stop here and there and modify or plan around the kids. We'd highly recommend Dai, worth every dollar, particularly in the first few days as you learn to navigate Tokyo!

A lovely genuine young man A dedicated world traveler himself having visited 146 countries with a personal ambitions to see the rest of the world ! Dai’s English was very good , his understanding of historical sites and their significance in Japan’s cultural evolution was fantastic. Very proud to show visitors the obvious tourist destinations but equally as keen to reveal the quirky little places that visitors would never find on their own. Energetic, enthusiastic and a very knowledgeable young guy.. Highly recommend Dai as a guide to Tokyo..
