About Tour Guide Dai A.

Hi, I'm Dai, a national licensed tour guide for people from all over the world.

I’m crazy about traveling around the world.

I’ve backpacked in over 150 countries.

So I'm proud of my traveling skills, flexibility and patience that I've ever experienced through my world-traveling.

I do believe one of the most important thing for travelers is to " EXPERIENCE ", such as doing something new, extraordinary and something you've never done before.

Also, I used to work at a hostel in Asakusa, so I'm quite familiar with Asakusa area.

I'd love to help international tourists enjoy their stay in Japan.

You can arrange your own itinerary as you like.

Please feel free to contact me anytime, if you have any questions.

I'm really looking forward to seeing YOU soon. Thank YOU.

Reviews

Excellent full day!

We had a fantastic day in Tokyo with Dai. There was not a question about the city or about Japanese culture that he could not answer. We learned so much in one day that we would have never been able to otherwise! He showed us a perfect mix between historic sites and modern neighborhoods. We highly recommend Dai as a guide.

Thank you so much for taking your precious time to write such a thoughtful review, Frida. It was absolutely my great pleasure to show you around Tokyo. I also had a great time with you and really enjoyed walking around the city and talking with you. I’m still worried about your son. I hope your son gets well soon. Enjoy the rest of your days in Tokyo, Kyoto and Hakone. Please take good care of yourself and give my best regards to your wonderful family. Thanks a million!!!

Best Guide Ever!

We travel a lot and all agreed Dai is the best guide we’ve ever had. He shared enough about the history and religious customs to be interesting without being overwhelming and gave us a great context for what we were seeing. He went above and beyond waiting in lines for us and helping us buy onward train tickets. He was engaging and easy going. Our 17-year-old son who often gets antsy on a full day tour said he really enjoyed the day and that it was our best, high praise indeed! Thank you Dai for a fantastic day and great start to our time in Tokyo!!
