Day trip from Shimizu port to explore Shizuoka by a private car
Arriving at Shimizu port by cruise, and if you have some time to explore before you get back, I can show you the area to make your visit more enjoyable. I can arrange an itinerary by listening to what you desire to do. If you have seen enough shrines and temples, we can avoid it, if you want to try green tea picking or strawberry picking, we can arrange it as well (if it's in season). I will personally drive the tour to keep the price low.
Mt. Fuji Tour from Shimizu port
After pick up at Shimizu port, Oshino Hakkai (8 natural spring), Arakurayama park to enjoy the pagoda with beautiful view of Mt. Fuji. You can have Houtou for lunch, or see Kawaguchi lake or Yamanaka lake. Please let me know what you like to do or see, I can arrange them into your itinerary.
Mt. Fuji Tour by a private car
Come to Fujisan station or nearby station. I pick you up from the station and take you to Oshino Hakkai (8 natural spring), Arakurayama park to enjoy the pagoda with beautiful view of Mt. Fuji. You can have Houtou for lunch, or see Kawaguchi lake or Yamanaka lake. Sengen Shrine if you are interested in, too. Please let me know what you like to do or see, I can arrange them into your itinerary.
Day trip in Shizuoka/Fujieda
This tour shows you the real countryside of Japan. Pick up and drop off at Fujieda station or near stations. You can experience the tea ceremony in Japanese garden. Nature walk around the park to feel the seasons. You can also enjoy different levels of green tea ice cream. A Fish market in Yaizu, you don't want to miss!! You can tell me what you are interested in, I can make a perfect itinerary just for you. I will personally drive a car to keep the fee low.
Hike Mt. Bikuichi to view of Mt. Fuji
This tour shows you the real countryside of Japan. Pick up and drop off at Fujieda station or near stations. Nice hike to Mt. Bikuishi, it's a beautiful hike and many different trails you can choose from. (easy to medium level) After the hike, you can enjoy different levels of green tea ice cream. “attempted robbery or extortion”
The tour began and at first he tried to get us to get off at a bathroom where it was devastated and we didn't let him. When we arrived at the first stop, two people approached asking for an explanation because we were driving with our cell phone, which was a lie, there we entered a bathroom. and they followed us, they insisted that we had to accompany them to an office which we did not accept and when we returned to where the car was, a group of 7 people were already waiting for us asking for our passports, of course we did not give them, and they were getting angry. aggressive at the end they took photos of us and a passport and let us go, we no longer wanted to continue with the tour and we speeded up to return, very bad experience

(3 reviews)Dear Salomon san First of all, I'd like to sincerely apologize for how Japanese police made you feel uncomfortable asking questions during the tour. I believe there were some language problems, misunderstanding, not being able to comprehend the difference in cultures and customs and lack of explanation led to such aggressive behavior for both sides. I learned later that on that day, a large number of undercover police were investigating illegal drivers. They needed to ask some questions to the customers directly as well as the driver. They also needed to see the customer's passport for their record and nothing more than that. At the end, more police gathered which made the situation worse but I appreciate what your father has done. After the incident, I have tried to make things right but I wasn't able to provide it successfully. I respected your opinion and drove you back to the port safely. I am deeply sorry for what happened to your family that day. Thank you for your honest opinions and taking your time to write the review. From this experience, I've learned and I have an intention of improving in the future. Thank you Sayori
“Amazing day ”
Sayori was an informative and articulate guide with a lot of local knowledge. She was able to adapt the itinerary due to the weather and made it very interesting. Her English was impeccable and I would highly recommend Sayori to anyone wanting a great day in Shimizu.
