I am Fumie Ueda, a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter in Atami, Shizuoka, only 50 minutes away from Tokyo by Shinkansen trains. Atami is conveniently located at the foot of the Hakone mountains, and the base of the Izu Peninsula. It is also close to Mt. Fuji and the Shimizu Port in Shizuoka. I am excited to show you around beautiful places that I love. I grew up in Yokohama, spent 1 year as a high school exchange student in Allentown, PA in the US, went to college and lived/worked in Tokyo for about 10 years before coming to this beautiful onsen resort. Welcome to Shizuoka in the central area of Japan. I was born in Hakone, Kanagawa Pref. and grew up in Izu Peninsula, also studied English at Kanagawa University in Yokohama. After graduation, I have traveled to a lot of countries such as Europe, U, S., Asia and lived in Australia for a year. I had a great time to visit there to have a wonderful experience. “Relaxing & Great Tour”
Aside from the excellent weather we had, Moto took maximum advantage by taking us to the best spots to view Mt Fuji in all her glory. He took us to a secluded tea farm that offered majestic views of Mt Fuji & we were able to sample the fresh tea grown there. Lunch was at a very elegant restaurant frequented by locals which was simply delicious. Moto is a soft spoken guide who understood our desire to avoid crowded tourist spots. He was very flexible & was very gracious. I would highly recommend Moto to anyone who wants to explore the Shimizu region.

“Shimizu and points of interest”
We had a wonderful day touring with Sayori H. We journeyed to a seaside view of Mt. Fuji, took a cable car to the Kunozan Shrine, with great views of Mt. Fuji and Suruga Bay and visited a tea plantation. The weather was great, toped off with a great guide in Sayori. She was very informative, spoke excellent English along with a very good knowledge of the area. We would recommend her anytime. Pat and Alida

“Amazing Mount Fuji Tour with Chinami!”
We had a fantastic day with Chinami in Shimizu and Mount Fuji! She was kind, professional, and very well-organized. The itinerary was perfectly timed, and she made sure we enjoyed every moment without feeling rushed. Chinami shared great insights and took us to beautiful spots with stunning views of Mount Fuji.
