Reviews

Shimizu with Sayori

This review is coming in late and I apologize, however the day that Sayori provided for us was absolutely spectacular. It began with us pulling into the port and having somewhat a gloomy day, being overcast and rainy. Sayori met us promptly at the ship terminal and greeted us as we got off of the ship. We introduced ourselves and it was obvious from the start that our day was still going to be great. Not only did she speak perfect English, but she got along with and communicated well with everyone in our party (which consisted of 3 generations of family). Our activities consisted of us using mixed means of transport such as the bus and taxis and they all went flawlessly. She guided us to the beach/shoreline, then up to the area and cable car ride to the temple of where Tokugawa Ieyasu spent the latter part of his life and then back down near the piers where the seafood and open market were. I am not really providing much justice as to what our day entailed but out of all of the ports and private tours we experienced, this was the worst weather but the best tour. Sayori provided us with the perfect amount of information and found time in the day to have a great interaction with every one of us individually. Towards the end of our time together we did all get to have lunch together where she made sure that all of our orders were correct and even spent extra time with us as we shopped for treats and snacks to take back with us, making our interactions with the shops and vendors so easy. Each of us stated at the end of our vacation how exceptional she was that even though the weather was not great, that she provided us with the perfect day and experience in the town of Shimizu. Thank you Sayori! Best to your family, and we hope to see you again one day.

Dear Jewel san Thank you for taking your time to write such a lovely review. I hope you had a wonderful time in Japan. It was my pleasure to meet you all and guide you around Shimizu area. I didn't have the magic to blow away the clouds!! Reading your comment reminded me of that day clearly. I was very lucky to have a chance to spend a day with such a lovely family. Thank you again for letting me be your guide. I am looking forward to meet you again somewhere in the world. Sayori

Green-Tea Tour

Friendly, talented and competent. Excellent English as a language teacher. The tour to discover green tea with the Shizuoka museum was wonderful.
