“Great day in Shizuoka ”
Sayori was the perfect guide. She communicated with us ahead of time to plan the day. She answered all the questions we had and gave us the history of the region. She even helped us order lunch!

Thank you for letting me be your guide for today. Hike and seek with Mt. Fuji everywhere we went, but mostly we were very lucky. I am very glad to see you try some snack with anko (red bean paste) and green tea. Enjoy the rest of your trip in Japan!! Thank you Sayori

“Takagawa Shrine and Museum, Strawberries, and Fish Market”
We had a beautiful day with Sayori. She is fluent in English and a delight to spend time with and eager to share her culture. She is also super flexible on making sure you see the best of the region. While the majestic Mt. Fuji is awe-inspiring, even if you only get a glimpse through the clouds, a not to miss is the Tokugawa Shrine and museum, honoring the first Shogun of Japan. For a moment in time, you step into a world unimaginable. It is a peaceful walk with many steps through history. We enjoyed our descent 1,000 steps on an ancient path to the strawberry farms below, where we were able to pick and savor some of the most delicious strawberries in the world. From there, we made our way to the newly renovated Shimizu fish market and had the most delicious lunch of tempura shrimp and vegetables, and the best and freshest sushi tuna. Sayori was so attentive to our wishes and made perfect arrangements for us. We highly recommend her.

Thank you for coming to Shimizu, Cyndy san I appreciate your sweet comment about my tour. It was very nice to meet you both and show you around. I hope I didn't make you two too tired going down the stairs. I cherish the lovely talk we had at the Toshogu shrine. Thank you again for coming to Japan. Sayori
