Hello. I'm Akira.S. I've just finished working as a mentor for new young teachers of public junior high schools after long time career as a teacher. I’m so interested in guiding popular sightseeing spots and also hidden areas in and around Tokyo to you. I love this job because I have a lot of chances to meet nice people from various countries. I'm really looking forward to meeting persons interested in Japanese culture and history like YOU. I really hope you touch Japanese culture, including Japanese cuisine. I’m coming up with a tour plan based on your interest.

“ A great introduction to Japan and Tokyo ”

We had the pleasure of having Akira as our guide for 2 days while visiting Tokyo on our first trip to Japan. What made our tours memorable were his insights into the culture and history of Japan as well as showing us many of his favorite spots in Tokyo and Kamakura. We visited places we wouldn't have found on our own. He was easy to communicate with and suggested ideas prior to our arrival in Tokyo so we were ready to hit the ground running once we arrived. Overall, a great experience and introduction to Tokyo and Japan.

“ Our day was very exciting. We had been oJapan before and wanted to go to see new things we had not seen before. Akira hired a taxi driver for the whole day. It made going to shrines, gardens, shopping streets, etc. a hundred times easier. ”

Akira was very pleasant. It was our pleasure to spend the day with him. He was highly organized as to where we were going. Never once did he rush us along. He explained things to us in a way that we could understand them. His command of English was good. He was willing to answer questions.

“ Incredible Tokyo ”

Akira-san was our guide during our stay in Tokyo for 2 days. He was the kindest, most considerate and knowledgeable guide ever. He showed us the highlights of Tokyo including a fantastic Sushi lunch. He displayed a great sense of humor giving us multiple quizzes and asking humorous questions. We'll sure come back soon. Regina Haas

“ A very accommodating guide/ ”

Our group of 8 had the good fortune of having Akira S as our tour guide for two days in Tokyo. On the first day Akira ensured that we had a great visit to Mt Fuji and the next day he showed us the highlights of Tokyo. We found him to be a most accommodating person who was able to customize the tour as per our requirements. We learnt a lot about the history of Japan, it's culture and cuisine during the sightseeing. Dear Salim-san and all your family. I’m very happy to receive such an encouraging message. I really had a valuable time for two days. It’s mainly because of your friendship where I feel comfortable. You showed me your interest in Japanese culture and history, so you were always listening to me very earnestly. On the first day, it was an unbelievably beautiful day, when we could enjoy viewing beautiful Mt. Fuji.
