About Tour Guide Yuki K.
In 2025, it's the 3rd year as a private tour guide. I speak English and German a little. My hobbies are knitting, handicrafts of earrings and keychains, writing & reading novels in Japanese, and searching for good cafes. Next year, I'm about starting to garden for vegetables and harbs. The main place of a tour is Nagasaki city, including the war hisotory spots. I'd like to guide you to the cities of Sasebo, Saikai, and Unzen, too, if you hope. But I don't have a driving lisence, so transport
while your tour is necessary. I'm good at a family tour for your young kids, too. I like kids, so I'd like to suggest some ideas for their playing in the Nagasaki prefecture.
Important
Every 2nd Saturday isn't available because I'm a volunteer member of the Peace Promotion Association.
Not only Nagasaki, I can guide you in Sasebo, Unzen, and other smaller cities in the prefecture if you pay my transportation fee.
Tours
All tours can be customized for you. Send me a message with your requests!

The local history in Nagasaki about the damage by the atomic bomb
On 1945 August 9th, the city was damaged by the atomic bomb. In this tour, not only the atomic bomb museum & the Peace Park, but also some local places are available to visit. (August 7th to 9th are not on sale because I'm an attendee of a peace ambassador for the ceremony.)

Hydrangeas as the city flower & a hidden Garden in Nagasaki
[This plan is only in June because of the hydrangea's season.] The Megane bashi & the Kofukuji temple, as national heritages, are decorated with hydrangeas as the city flower of Nagasaki in June. The Mihara garden is in a hidden area, and using a cab is much more convenient than using a local bus. However, the garden established by a famous local man will become your favorite place! Ther're some important tips: It's necessary to wear sneakers or non-heel-shoes because of slopes and steps.

“Highly recommended!”
As a solo traveler who doesn't speak Japanese, a great guide is a godsent. Yuki did her outmost to make my time in Nagasaki a memorable experience and took extra care to cater to my preferences. She is one of those rare people that make you instantly relax when you meet her. We had a great dinner at the habour of Nagasaki before going up to mount Inasa to look out on a night-lit city. Yuki was so easy to talk to and really sociable the whole time.

“Review for Yuki K – Tour Guide in Nagasaki”
Our tour of Nagasaki with Yuki K was an outstanding experience. She guided us through the Dutch shipyard, local glass handicraft workshops, and shopping areas with a perfect balance of knowledge, warmth, and professionalism. Yuki's personality made the day feel relaxed and enjoyable, and her flexibility was especially appreciated. When our plans suddenly shifted to accommodate my wife and kids, she effortlessly pivoted and adjusted the itinerary without missing a beat. Her organization and local insight helped us get the most out of our time in Nagasaki. Hi! I'm Sho! I live in the center of Nagasaki city and work as a YouTuber, podcaster, and tour guide specializing in sharing the charms of Nagasaki. Actually, I was born and raised in Yokohama, near Tokyo, and worked for about 5 years in Tokyo. However, I fell in love with the culture and history of Nagasaki and moved here in 2020. Nagasaki has a rich history of international exchange and friendship, established about 450 years ago as an international trading port in Japan. Since then, many people from all over the world with diverse cultures and values have visited this city. I love these stories and histories of Nagasaki. Nagasaki is often associated with the sad history of the atomic bomb, which is, of course, an important part of this city's history, but Nagasaki has much more than that. I'm looking forward to introducing you to the many charms of Nagasaki!

Hi there! I’m Armand. Living in Nagasaki since 2016. I am living a most relaxing life on my permaculture homestead in the hills of Nagasaki, where you get the best views in Japan. I love my town. As a dancer and actor I love telling stories too. And there are so many great stories to share about all the interesting people that once dwelled in this adventurous town full of historical intrigues. Want to experience the rich Nagasaki culture? Eat the freshest fish of Japan? Make the most beautiful photos of hidden treasures and landscapes? Come and explore the town together with me. I’ve made it my mission to get to know everything there is to know about this place.

Hi, I’m glad you found my page! I’m a local guide based in Kyushu who loves sharing the region’s history, food, and landscapes in a relaxed and friendly way. Think of me as someone who can make your trip comfortable and memorable, while keeping things easygoing and fun. I began guiding to share the history, scenery, and food of my home with visitors from around the world. Before this, I worked in luxury retail, where I learned how important details and genuine hospitality are. Now I bring that same spirit to my tours, making sure every guest feels comfortable, cared for, and free to enjoy their journey. I specialize in private car tours around Kyushu, so you don’t have to worry about train schedules or carrying luggage. We can stop where you like, take things at your own pace, and enjoy the scenery along the way. Onboard you’ll have free Wi-Fi, music, and a comfortable ride—perfect for families, couples, or friends who want both convenience and a touch of luxury. Some of my favorite places to share are: Nagasaki: Peace Park, Atomic Bomb Museum, and the city’s cultural blend Fukuoka: Dazaifu Shrine, city highlights, and Yanagawa’s river cruise with eel dishes Kumamoto: Mt. Aso’s volcanic views, Kumamoto Castle, and Kurokawa Onsen Oita: Hita’s riverside town, plus Beppu and Yufuin hot springs Saga: Arita’s ceramics and the Yoshinogari ancient site Takachiho Gorge: A mystical canyon tied to Japanese legends What I enjoy most is helping guests discover both famous sights and hidden corners of Kyushu, while keeping the experience comfortable and stress-free. Whether you’re drawn to culture, food, history, or beautiful scenery, I can adjust the plan to match your style. I’d love to share my part of Japan with you and create memories that last long after your trip. If you have any questions or requests, please feel free to send me a message. I look forward to welcoming you to Kyushu and showing you what makes this region so special!
