Chengdu panda base
After a 40-minute drive from your hotel, you will reach the Chengdu Panda Base in the northern suburbs of Chengdu. Founded in 1987 with only 6 rescued wild pandas, the Chengdu Panda Base has grown into the largest captive panda research base, spanning 2.38 square kilometers and housing more than 200 pandas. However, due to the pandas’ preference for cold weather and their “spoiled” nature, most visitors are unable to see active pandas and end up seeing only “stone pandas” after hours of disoriented walking in the park. Our team has been running English-guided tours at this panda base for nearly 20 years and we know every corner of it like the back of our hands. We have developed a special and efficient route that allows you to see more active pandas with fewer crowds.

Sanxingdui museum
Our guide will take you on a tour of the massive exhibition, showcasing the tremendous and mysterious gold, jade, and bronze relics.
