Pick-up and drive to Lisbon´s Fernão Pó Region
Your journey begins with a comfortable transfer from Lisbon to Palmela, a region steeped in winemaking history.
Reaching this wine region, you will visit one of the following wineries:
Discover the legacy of Filipe Palhoça Vinhos, a family-run estate founded in 1950, now spanning 112 hectares across the Setúbal Peninsula. Experience the heartfelt passion passed down through generations as you explore their picturesque vineyards.
Or explore Casa Ermelinda Freitas, a winery celebrated for its century-old tradition and unique female leadership. Learn how the sandy, water-rich soils and cooling river breezes shape the elegant character of their wines, especially the signature Castelão grape, which flourishes here
Lunch Time... ;-)
Next, delight in a leisurely lunch at a beloved local restaurant, owned by a fisherman’s family. Savor the freshest catch from nearby ocean, along with other regional specialties, ensuring every palate is satisfied.
Casa Assis Lobo
After lunch, the experience concludes with a visit to Casa Assis Lobo a small family-run “boutique” wine cellar, where passionate winemakers share their craft and invite you to taste their wines that truly reflect the region´s character. Being one of the smaller wineries of the region, it will give you a completely different view of the wine industry.

“Favourite tour!”

“Óbidos and Mafra ”
This is my second tour with João and I have no regrets. Óbidos is a very photogenic town, and it's amazing to see the well-preserved Moorish walls that have been around since the 8th Century. The palace at Mafra is massive, and I am grateful that João was there to guide me through all the rooms. To be honest, I preferred this tour to Sintra, as it felt less “touristy”.

“Rainy Sintra Tour”
Although the severe rains limited some of our activities, João was an excellent guide who was very knowledgeable and provided great context for all the facts given. It was especially nice to hear about his personal experience growing up in Cascais, and how the area has changed over the years.
