“Best experience we could have asked for ”
Joanna was the best tour guide we could have asked for on our trip to the Douro valley. She was thoughtful, prepared and knowledgeable. We loved getting to know her life story in and outside of Portugal and her view of the Portuguese culture. She called and confirmed reservations and let restaurants knew if we were running late. At the end she felt like a friend not a guide and we look forward to our paths crossing again!

Being able to be your tour guide in Douro Valley was amasing! The day started with our drive towards Douro, and with such nice conversations about our lives and also about the differences & similarities of our countries, the long drive time passed by very quickly. It's so nice when you are able to share your knowledge and learn from others at the same time. Then, we explore the region in a relaxed way, yet making the most of your day, between typical villages, wine tastings, view points and some laughs along the way. Was indeed a very special day in an unique location and totally felt like showing my country to some friends! Also, hope our paths cross again and wishing great trips around the world. Thanks again for choosing me as your tour guide!

“Perfect Day in Douro”
Rui was an excellent driver for our customized tour of the Douro Valley. He was very knowledgeable about the wines and the region. The vehicle was comfortable and clean and he made the journey very pleasant by sharing his wealth of information about the area. We very much enjoyed our day seeing this beautiful region and highly recommend Rui as your driver!

“Two great days with Joana !!”
Joana was so very personable, friendly and knowledgeable. It was like having a tour with a friend! We had a full day walking/driving tour of Porto followed by a second full day where she showed us Aveira and Casa Nova on the coast with the wonderful striped houses on the waterfront, the fabulous beaches and the famous ceramic factory Vista Allegre. Altogether a warm and memorable two days seeing places and things we could not have discovered on our own.

Being able to be your tour guide was such an honour. As you mentioned, was like being with friends, so these two days were full of such wonderful moments, discovering Porto highlights and hidden places, eating the famous Pastel de nata and seeing Porto city in many different geographicaly perspetives. Our day in Aveiro and Costa Nova was also so special, with a more relaxing athmosphere, seeing its unique architecture, the gondolas/moliceiros in the canals, being near water, seeing our white sand beaches and visiting Vista Alegre. But, one of the special moments, was seeing your happy kid face, after eating your fresh sardines dish! Wishing you and Carla some wonderfull time in your travels, and also enjoying the new small members of the family! All the best and thanks for being so friendly and kind with me during these two days!
