Departure Day : Your hotel reception (in Luxor)
I will pick you up from your hotel to transfer you to Luxor Railway to board your seated train to El-Minya.
Day 1: Arrival in El-Minya - Ashmunien & Tuna El-Gabal
Once you arrive in El-Minya, you will meet your guide to commence your tour. Visit the Open Air Museum of Ashmunein and the Ptolemaic ruins of the ancient town of Hermopolis. Then proceed to Tuna El-Gabal to visit the beautiful tomb of Petosiris.
Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant, then transfer to your hotel for a free evening in El-Minya. Dinner will be served at the hotel.
Day 2: Tell El-Amarna & Bani Hassan
Breakfast at hotel, then to visit Tell Amarna, the ancient City of Akhetaten, where Akhenaton worshiped his sole God, Aton, and where Tutankhamun was born. Then proceed to visit the magnificent tombs of Bani Hassan with their unique scenes of ancient Egyptian wrestling.
Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant, then transfer to El-Minya Railway to board your train to Luxor. Transfer from Luxor railway to your hotel in Luxor.
