“Absolutely Wonderful!”

Carlos picked us up promptly at our hotel and we immediately felt comfortable with him and our accommodations in a nice minivan. He even included water! Our tour included history of Portugal and Lisbon beyond our expectations. The tour included driving to the various historic spots and significant spots throughout Lisbon. We are picture junkies and he was able to take time for our desires to photo the best images. There were plenty of spots we got out and walked the areas to get the feel for the land, the people and the buildings. Included was a stop at the famous Pastel de Belem factory/store/diner with time for a coffee, pastel and restroom break. They are fantastic, so don't miss out on these little gems. They will survive for a few days, so load up!! Don't hesitate to ask questions about everything you have interest it. We did and it just makes the experience more personal and more valuable. Carlos is a great resource on all that is Portuguese and Lisbon. All in all, this was the best guided tour on our trip and this guy is the real deal. In retrospect, I wished I'd given him a bigger tip as he was worth every euro!!!

“Favourite tour!”

I have been in Portugal for a month, and this is the favourite thing I've done. No words can describe how beautiful the views are in Arrábida. The small towns we drove through were so charming. You will not regret booking this tour with João.

“Óbidos and Mafra ”

This is my second tour with João and I have no regrets. Óbidos is a very photogenic town, and it's amazing to see the well-preserved Moorish walls that have been around since the 8th Century. The palace at Mafra is massive, and I am grateful that João was there to guide me through all the rooms. To be honest, I preferred this tour to Sintra, as it felt less “touristy”.
