Your day begins at a charming, family-owned olive oil business, where you’ll learn about the production methods and differences of the olive oils that exits in Portugal, in a guided tasting of traditional olive oils.
Regional Wine Tasting
Next, you’ll visit a small family-run “boutique” wine cellar, where passionate winemakers share their craft and invite you to taste their wines that truly reflect the region´s character.
Lunch time
The experience concludes with a leisurely lunch at a memorable beloved fisherman’s restaurant. There’s no set menu, as your meal is crafted from the morning’s catch, where the star of the table is obviously fresh fish, prepared with love using simple Mediterranean recipes. Here, you’ll experience the spirit and quality ingredients that define Portugal´s celebrated food culture.

“Favourite tour!”

“Óbidos and Mafra ”
This is my second tour with João and I have no regrets. Óbidos is a very photogenic town, and it's amazing to see the well-preserved Moorish walls that have been around since the 8th Century. The palace at Mafra is massive, and I am grateful that João was there to guide me through all the rooms. To be honest, I preferred this tour to Sintra, as it felt less “touristy”.

“Rainy Sintra Tour”
Although the severe rains limited some of our activities, João was an excellent guide who was very knowledgeable and provided great context for all the facts given. It was especially nice to hear about his personal experience growing up in Cascais, and how the area has changed over the years.
