This is Yuji, Japanese creator, such as painting, illustration, cartoon, and designing for Japanese magazine & advertising. I graduated from college in the US long ago. I used to work for Japanese publishing company for travel and Information magazine. I take lots of foreign friends to many places around Tokyo as a guide. I can take you common famous places, but also I can guide you if you have a special request, such as art, anime, table tennis or something belongs to your interest. For mostly I guide you by using the common transportation. but I also use my car to take you around for a small member of group because my car is so small, mini cooper.

“Excellent tour guide ”
Yuji was our best tour guide. My son is really into anime so he took us to sites we wanted to see and added extra places that we would have never found otherwise. Will book him again highly recommend. Thanks Yuji

Thank you for your review, Rebecca san. I hope you enjoyed your stay in Japan. Even though your son was in a rebellious phase, he was a wonderful boy who took pictures with you. Please look back on your memories of Japan with these photos and see you again !!!

“Amazing day covering so many sites and adapted the tour for our pace and interests”
Yuji was a great guide, so fun and personable. He helped us get acclimated to the trains and showed us so many parts of Tokyo in one day. Seeing Godzilla in shinjuku was one thing on our list. We also got to experience a variety of Japanese treats from fresh sashimi at Tsukiji to rice balls at Asakusa. It was a great first day in Tokyo and Yuji gave us lots of good suggestions for the rest of our trip too. We ventured back to Golden Gae a few days later to check it out at night. We would all highly recommend Yuji!!!

Thank you for your review. I’m hoping you enjoy your stay in Japan. I was kind of worried about your father a little bit because he seemed so tired. But I also could see he reminded his old days in Japan. Please, say hello to Kyle’s family for me !!

“A Wonderful Way to Gain a Tokyo Overview”
Yuji is a delight! My college age daughter and I spent our 2nd day in Japan with him where he gave us an overview of Tokyo and many of the major sites. I highly recommend scheduling Yuji for your first or second day in Tokyo. In addition to sightseeing, he explained how to use the train system, how to read the signage on the train monitors, and provided insight on what to expect in Tokyo (and some for Kyoto which was our next stop). It really made the rest of our trip easier! Yuji has a delightful and fun personality. He is a working artist and art instructor as well. He attended college in the U.S., so his English is quite good. We appreciated that he wasn't rigid; when we asked for a change in the itinerary so we could make a shopping run, he weaved it right in. I twisted my knee a tad during our day together, but not bad enough that I wanted to stop the tour. He was mindful of my needs and found a drugstore where I could find some medication, and he looked for moving walkways to help reduce my step count. Thank you Yuji for giving us a great orientation to Tokyo and for your kindness. Arigato!
