I was born and raised in Japan and have spent my career working closely with international guests. After retiring as a hotel executive, I chose to become a tour guide so I could share Japan in a more personal and meaningful way. I especially enjoy telling the history of Yokohama, Japan’s first foreign settlement, and explaining how it shaped modern Japan through culture, trade, and daily life.
