I’m Hideaki. Just call me “Mura” or “Mura-san”. “San” means “Mr.” or "Ms." in Japanese. I have a national tour guide license in English.

We will visit several places in Tokyo where you can experience traditional and modern Japan in one day. Please select some places from the list below or just let me know what kind of attractions you are interested in, then I will propose a one-day tour itinerary for you. This tour is so flexible that we can change our itinerary depending on your interests. If you are Muslim, we can visit Tokyo Camii mosque and Halal restaurant.
Exciting Hakone - One Day Tour from Tokyo
Hakone is one of the best sightseeing spots with beautiful sceneries and 20 kinds of hot springs. Take a Shinkansen (a bullet train) from Tokyo. After that, a mountain train that runs through valleys, a ropeway that allows you to view beautiful Mr. Fuji on a sunny day and cruising at Lake Ashi. Owakudani is the place where you can see the real volcanic activity. My favorite part of this tour is Lake Ashi where You can have the most beautiful view of Mt. Fuji with the lake.
Exciting Nikko - One Day Tour from Tokyo
Nikko is one of the most popular sightseeing spots in Japan. The Shrines and Temples in Nikko were designated as a world cultural heritage in 1999. In this tour, we will visit following sightseeing spots. - Shinkyo Bridge - Rinnoji Temple - Toshogu Shrine - Futarasan Shrine - Taiyuin Mausoleum My favorite part of this tour is Toshogu Shrine. It's Japan's most gorgeous shrine and worldly famous for its colourful and elaborate sculptures of plants and animals.
Naritasan Shinshoji temple before your flight
If you have more than 4 hours before your flight at Narita airport, you should visit Naritasan Shinshoji temple, and experience Japanese culture. It's a time-honored temple with a history of over 1000 years. In my opinion, it's the best temple in Tokyo region with great traditional buildings, beautiful Japanese gardens and Japanese food. Here, I can tell almost everything about Japanese couture and traditions to you. I can make your layover time in Japan more enjoyable and fruitful !!
Exciting Kamakura - One Day Tour from Tokyo
Kamakura is called "Kyoto of Eastern Japan", because it used to be the capital of Japan from 12th to 14th century, and the first government by the Shogun, a top of samurai warriors, was located here. Kamakura offers numerous temples, shrines and other historical monuments. In this tour, we will visit three famous temples and one shrine. Personally, I love Kamakura so much and strongly recommend this tour to you, because there are so many beautiful places here.

“Tour of Fuji and Nikko”
We spent two days exploring out of Tokyo with Mura. He said in his biography that his "basic policy as a tour guide is to entertain my guests with my best hospitality" and Mura certainly lived up to this and we felt very welcome with him. He scheduled the trips well and we never felt rushed or needed to ask to rest. He was able to answer all of our questions about Japan and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with him!
