Exciting Nikko - One Day Tour from Tokyo
Nikko is one of the most popular sightseeing spots in Japan. The Shrines and Temples in Nikko were designated as a world cultural heritage in 1999.
In this tour, we will visit following sightseeing spots.

My favorite part of this tour is Toshogu Shrine. It's Japan's most gorgeous shrine and worldly famous for its colourful and elaborate sculptures of plants and animals.

Rinnoji Temple
It has more than 1,200 years history. Three golden Buddha are must-see.
Toshogu Shrine
Japan's most gorgeous shrine and worldly famous for its colorful and elaborate sculptures of plants, animals and imaginary creatures.
Futarasan Shrine
Nowadays, it’s a shrine of love.
Taiyuin Mausoleum
The grave of the third Shogun of the Tokugawa dynasty.
Move to your hotel from Nikko by bus and train.

If you want to enjoy a mountain view in Nikko, we can skip some temples and shrines and add following places into the itinerary. But in case a heavy traffic jam is forecasted, this option is not available.
- Iroha-Zaka Slope : 48 hairpin curves and a beautiful mountain view.
- Akechidaira : Beautiful combination view of Lake Chuzenji and Kegon Water Fall.
- Kegon Water Fall : 97m waterfall. One of the three most famous waterfalls in Japan.

“Great tour and amazing help!”
Hideaki did an amazing job not only showing us Hakone but also did an amazing job going above and beyond in helping us understand and buy our shinkansen tickets for the following day from Hakone to Kyoto. Getting to Hakone and then on to Kyoto via shinkansen was the part of our trip I was most worried about, but Hideaki made the trip to Hakone seamless and fun. We were lucky to be able to see Mt Fuji and the open-air museum was enchanting. Would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a tour guide in Tokyo for a day trip!
