“Family fun in Hakodate”
We were only in Hakodate for 1 day. Tomio, our guide, was able to fit in a full day of activities into the day with being flexible at each activity to allow us the time to enjoy it. At the Market, Tomio, made sure we visited all the unique stalls and the stalls with the best food selections. We opted to take public transportation which worked well out well with our budget. Overall, Tomio was a great guide and my family enjoyed the day.
“Bad experience overall”
At times, things don't go as we expect; there may be a setback, a failure, or simply a bad experience; we are all human, which is why it's understandable when some aspect of the contracted service is deficient. But there are occasions when the entire service is deficient. That was the case with the guide. What happened? Suffice it to say that we only endured 3 days out of the 6 we spent in Tokyo, and despite not knowing the Japanese language, we decided to venture on our own instead of continuing to use the guide's services. I recommend ensuring that the guide is thoroughly familiar with the locations they will be taking you to and is well-informed about schedules, timings, and distances so that the day can be enjoyable. I clarify that our experience with her was for a full-day tour in Tokyo and its surroundings, and we were in contact with her approximately 50 days prior, during which we shared ideas to plan the tour days, yet we still felt they were very improvised. I am unaware of her performance in visits to specific places. I regret having to leave this review.
“Flexible Service”
I had to arrange a walking tour at the last minute, and I appreciate how promptly and thoughtfully you customized it for us. Thank you for the attentive service!
