I have just returned from a fantastic trip to Japan. There was one person who really made a difference in my trip. After much research and correspondence I selected Akira, what a great and perfect choice he was. He was easy to communicate with, and we had no problem working out a schedule that suited my interests. He met me at my hotel to the minute he promised. He took me personally everywhere I wanted to go. He is a teacher. He taught me how to navigate the city, the subways, the train system. He helped me buy my Shinkansen tickets and even took me to the train station and helped me navigate the station. He knows so much Japanese history and as a teacher really helped me understand so much. “An unforgettable Day in Tokyo with Haruo”

Haruo picked us up at the new cruise terminal and guided us through an amazing day in Tokyo. We visited the Tokyo Government Building, enjoyed a delicious teppanyaki lunch, crossed the famous Shibuya Crossing, and explored the Meiji-schrein and Sensoji-tempel along the way. We used public transportation throughout the day, and without Haruo we would have been completely lost in Tokyo’s complex train system. His guidance made everything easy and stress-free. We booked Haruo because our daughters had already toured with him before and were absolutely enthusiastic about their experience — and now we fully understand why. The tour was very relaxed, and Haruo was always flexible and attentive to our wishes. We started the day as strangers and ended it happily, tired, and as friends. A truly special experience — highly recommended!

“Great (but short) Visit to Osaka”

My wife and I had a 12 hour layover in Osaka and she had never been to Japan, so we wanted a tour guide to show us some highlights. Nikki was wonderful. She met us at the airport, took us to the castle. There was a snag on the railroad, and having a native to help us navigate that was a big asset. She showed us around town and arranged a traditional tea ceremony. It gave us a great feeling for the area and whetted our appetite for a longer and more thorough visit to the Osaka/Kobe area and Japan in general. I highly recommend Nikki, and would hire her again when we return.
