Japan Tour Reviews

It rained, and yet we still had a wonderful day.

Hideo was extremely well organized and shepherded our group very well. He knew his itinerary very well and informed us on all the important points. The only problems we had were with GoWithGuides not Hideo.

Great day tour

Ritsuko did a wonderful job taking us to new areas of Tokyo we hadn’t seen before. I asked her to modify our tour at the last minute and she did an excellent job to meet our requests.

Great time with Yoshi

We spent 2.5 days with Yoshi at Nara and Kyoto area. The weather was mixed sun and rain but this doesn’t prevent the enjoyment and learning we recieved. Yoshi was previously a teacher which really helped him explain so clearly. Our highlights were all the gardens we gardened we experienced on the silver pavilion tour.,Amazing.

Learning about Japan has never been easier with our local, expert tour guides leading the way, from a tour through Okayama, to the inner gems of Shikoku.

Ready to take on Japan’s sites and go beyond the usual? Kurashiki's Bikan Historical Quarter is a beautifully preserved Edo-period district, and with a knowledgeable tour guide, you can encounter traditional architecture, willow-lined canals, and charming shops. From historical context, to share stories about the area, it’s time to see the land of the rising sun the right way.

To see a side of Japan not commonly noticed, talk to a local tour guide about peaceful pockets of relaxation like Iya Valley, a rugged setting with high cliffs, vine bridges, and traditional thatched-roof houses waiting to be explored.
