I will use traditional handicrafts to illustrate the history and lifestyle of the people of Tokyo. Who were the samurai? What difference with a Ninja? How were armors crafted? I am also going to teach you all you need to know about those fierce warriors in front of a large collection of authentic weapons & armors.

Japanese Gardens and Tokyo Life: Bunkyo City Customized Tour

Bunkyo City is in the heart of central Tokyo, just north of Chiyoda City where the Imperial Palace and Tokyo Station are. The city is Tokyo’s typical residential and academic area where I was born, grew up, and live now. We'll move around the city with a Bunkyo City Community Bus, B-guru ( “beagle”, the mascot character of the bus), and visit Edo-Tokyo Japanese gardens and other calm and pleasant sites. You'll also catch a glimpse of Tokyo citizens’ life during the tour.

Our Tour will start from Meiji Shrine, then move to Takeshita street where you can find cute ‘Kawaii’ culture. On Omotesando Promenades you will find a gorgeous line-up of newly designed architecture, such as Omotesando Hills by Tadao Ondo etc. Finish is Shibuya where you can enjoy Shibuya Crossing. Goal will be good Japanese restaurant.

“Great guide!”

Jasmine was a really great guide, very kind sweet and smart. She was there on time and her knowledge of the city of Kyoto is immensely big she knows all about the culture and answered all the questions very confidently. She had a great recommendations for restaurants and shopping spots as well as she knew how to move around the temples and the shrines, giving you the best perspective of Kyoto and it’s all within walking distance. She was very attentive and well spoken and her English is really good. “Zenkoji Visit”

Masa is a friendly and knowledgeable guide. He is considerate. It was a little rainy on our tour date so he brought umbrellas and offered to drive us to the temple so that we would not get rained on. He was knowledgeable about the history of zen and of the temple area itself. He helped us pick out a after-tour snack, participate in free sake tasting, and select temple charms to bring home. If i visit Nagano again, I would be interested in another tour with Masa as there is so much to see around just Zenkoji temple itself.

“Loved Yuji!”

We booked a tour with Yuji for our first day in Tokyo and had a great experience. He’s super friendly, communicated well, and did a great job catering to our needs. He helped us learn how to use the train system, brought us to some fantastic locations, and had us try certain off-the-beaten path things that we would never have considered.
