Bunkyo City is in the heart of central Tokyo, just north of Chiyoda City where the Imperial Palace and Tokyo Station are. The city is Tokyo’s typical residential and academic area where I was born, grew up, and live now. We'll move around the city with a Bunkyo City Community Bus, B-guru ( “beagle”, the mascot character of the bus), and visit Edo-Tokyo Japanese gardens and other calm and pleasant sites. “An engaging tour of Kyoto”

Yuta was great fun and informative. Even for our group of 7, with 5 teenagers (so he had a very high bar with a short attention span for most of the group). He was able to provide rich historical and cultural information, connecting with the group's diverse range of interests. Additionally, he works in media, so his pictures during the tour were amazing (by far the best of the whole trip). I would highly recommend him to anyone touring Kyoto or the surroundings.

“A great time with a great host!”

Ryoko was very knowledgeable about the area and my favorite place of the trip was Toshogu Shrine. Those steps were steep! It was a lovely area and thankfully, the weather was quite nice. I wish I could remember the name but the soba restaurant we went to was fantastic and the bakery on the way to station was nice as well. I strongly recommend Ryoko as your guide. In addition to her knowledge, she is a very friendly person to talk to and the time just flew away. She is quite passionate about the area and I hope to one day fully explore Nikko!
