Four of us were lucky enough to have Tomoe as our guide. She’s very knowledgeable about Kyoto and the various places we stopped. She very efficiently planned our route so that we were able to avoid the heaviest crowds. She selected an excellent restaurant where we had authentic foods. She was so funny, and we did a lot of laughing. Most impressively, she called our hotel prior to our arrival to arrange transportation, as our hotel was located in a remote location where taxis don’t run. We highly recommend Tomoe as a guide. We hope to see her again.

Kazuo very courteously met me at my hotel on time. Her English was perfect and we chatted about many things on our way to the Yatai stalls. She was familiar with the timing of the Yatai vendors so we were able to be seated at the 1st one with no delay. We shared food, drinks and laughs. As darkness fell we wandered through the beautiful autumn evening. In perfect weather we shared some common stories of our lives. Our 2nd Yatai was off the beaten path that maybe only locals know. I enjoyed this one even more. I must say it seemed an enchanted evening for me due to Kazue's sweet, gentle, yet professional demeanor. I highly recommend Kazue. She shared with me a night I will have fond memories of forever.

I work in Kyoto and was fortunate to be able to participate in this tour. I was very satisfied with the tour because it showed me a slightly different Kyoto from the one I usually see. Most of all, I enjoyed walking around Kyoto. There were fewer crowds on this day, so it was a great light exercise before dinner. I would recommend an evening stroll. My sincere thanks to Eric.
Ms Rumi Thank you for your comments and I am very happy to hear from you that you enjoyed the tour with guide Thanks and regards Eric Tanaka
