Japan Tour Reviews

Phenomenal!

Harry is the best!…he has a philosophy of starting at the beginning and letting the story run until the end which is exactly what we did. From the first stop where the Marines landed all the way to the very end at the southern tip of Okinawa…he lets the brutal story of the Battle of Okinawa be told. One of the most amazing things is how Okinawa survived and grew in the 80 years…from complete devastation to a vibrant island Worth every yen!

A great day in Kyoto

Robert was a knowledgeable and engaging guide to a great city. He brought a deep knowledge of Japanese culture and history to his very enjoyable tour of gardens, temples, shrines and shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him, and recommend him highly.

Private Tours in Japan

Learning about Japan has never been easier with our local, expert tour guides leading the way, from a tour through Okayama, to the inner gems of Shikoku.

Ready to take on Japan’s sites and go beyond the usual? Kurashiki's Bikan Historical Quarter is a beautifully preserved Edo-period district, and with a knowledgeable tour guide, you can encounter traditional architecture, willow-lined canals, and charming shops. From historical context, to share stories about the area, it’s time to see the land of the rising sun the right way.

To see a side of Japan not commonly noticed, talk to a local tour guide about peaceful pockets of relaxation like Iya Valley, a rugged setting with high cliffs, vine bridges, and traditional thatched-roof houses waiting to be explored.
