My Name is Naoya Usuda. I was born in Tokyo in 1952. After my graduation from Keio University, I joined a Japanese bank. Mainly I was assigned international business and stayed in London for three years. At the age of 52, I moved to a Japanese manufacturer company and had worked for 11 years. As a personnel manager, I engaged in hiring Indian graduates. Then for two years, I went to Tashkent in Uzbekistan as a JICA senior volunteer. I taught "corporate finance" at Tashkent Financial Institute in English. I got the guide license in 2017, After I came back to Tokyo, I am working as a volunteer guide, especially in Shinjuku. I hope to create special and deep tours in which tourists are interested but by now they were not able to gain access to. Maybe you just want a friend to bring you to your desired locations and interpret and be at your beck and call 24 hours (like I do for the media). If you're looking for flexibility (time, places. transport), you won't find a better match than me. Nagoya is the 4th largest city in Japan with a population of about 2.2 million. I would like to guide you Nagoya Castle, Osu Kannon Temple, old shopping streets, Oasis21 and Nagoya TV Tower. Nagoya Castle was first built by Tokugawa Ieyasu in 1612. Afterwards it was burnt down in 1945 and it was reconstructed in 1959. You can see Golden Shachi on the both ends of the top roof. Furthermore the Honmaru (the keep of a castle) reconstructed in 2013 is open to the public, too.

“Fantastic sumo experience with Saki! ”

This sumo experience has been a highlight of our almost 3 week trip in Japan. Saki was so helpful in picking tickets, setting up a meeting time, and explaining all of the interesting and amazing details that makes sumo so interesting. We spent about five hours and they just flew by, my teenage boys sat with Saki and asked her questions and had fun with her, too. She’s such a nice person, you will really enjoy your time with her. She also gave us some dining suggestions, offered to walk us around Nagoya Castle, and helped set up a car to Ghibli Park. She knows Nagoya and Kyoto inside and out, I can’t recommend her enough! So easy to communicate with her and so nice to spend time with her.
