“Best Guide in Japan”

We spent 2-weeks in Japan and had 5 guides in various places. Akira was the best by a mile! From the moment he met us to the the end of the day, he was an EXCELLENT host. His knowledge, enthusiasm, language skills and thoughtfulness could not have been better. His car was spotless and comfortable. His tours were really well thought out. He was great fun and super polite. His explanations of the history/culture/background of every site was superb. And, when we arrived at a temple and realised we were a little short of cash, he ran back to his car to grab some, to keep our day moving along smoothly. He also introduced us to a secret location for an amazing lunch. Overall - it was a pleasure to spend the day with him. He only gets 5-stars because I cannot give him 6. Do not hesitate to book him - he is a legend!

“Tour Mount Fuji”

He made our tour very nice. He was very friendly. We learned this was his first time doing this tour and he done well and we enjoyed being able to tour with him. Unfortunately we did not get to see Mount Fuji due to the weather.

Best tour of our Japan trip - an unforgettable JoJo / Morioh pilgrimage This was, without question, the best tour of our entire trip to Japan. Eiji and his wife created an unforgettable day for my 17-year-old son and me, tracing the real-world Sendai locations connected to Morioh from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. They knew exactly how to make the city come alive for a JoJo fan - the Lawson stop, the hidden locations, the poses, the photos, the small details, and the feeling that we were genuinely walking through Josuke’s world. They also took us for mochi, which was a wonderful local touch and made the day feel personal rather than like a standard sightseeing tour. Eiji and his wife were warm, funny, thoughtful, and incredibly generous with their time. When I pressed Eiji to accept an extra tip, he politely declined - a true gentleman. I have honestly never had tour guides put so much care, energy, and enthusiasm into making a day special. My son absolutely loved it, and so did I. For any JoJo fan visiting Sendai, this is an essential experience. Phenomenal guides. Phenomenal day. Highest possible recommendation.

As the saying goes, "A great audience makes a great show." The reason our tour became so exciting is all because of your willingness to learn about Japanese culture, to try local delicacies, and to strike a JoJo pose with no hesitation (this is very important!). Not to mention Oliver’s comprehensive knowledge about JoJo! I might need to prepare much deeper quizzes for my future tours. It was a real pleasure guiding you both.
