“Excellent Customized Itinerary - Cruise Port Day”

Katsu contacted me prior to departure to make sure he could arrange everything based on our group. I traveled with my senior parents so Katsu went above and beyond to accommodate their abilities. On the day of the tour, Katsu met us at the cruise terminal where we arrived in the morning and had printed itineraries for us in an accessible van. From the moment the tour began, he was so friendly and welcoming and provided commentary throughout each stop. He arranged a tea tasting in a historic home which was a highlight of the day. We then visited Shimabara castle, samurai village and geothermal park. We had such a nice day! I highly recommend Katsu for anyone visiting Nagasaki.

“100% Personalized Okinawa Tour – Great Guide, & A Sacred UNESCO Site”

We had an absolutely fantastic time with Toku! If you are planning a trip to Okinawa, read our full review to see why we highly recommend him. After traveling around Japan for a few months, we decided to spend some time exploring Okinawa. Toku was incredibly fast to respond to our initial inquiry. He was completely punctual, which meant our itinerary went perfectly according to plan, and he went above and beyond to accommodate our schedule. Here are a few key highlights from our experience: 1) Language & Communication: Toku speaks highly professional, advanced English. Since our Japanese is unfortunately very limited, this was a massive help and made communication seamless. 2)Professionalism & Flexibility: This is a 100% personalized tour. Toku was a superb host and tailored everything to our needs—he even agreed to meet us 30 minutes early so we could make the absolute most of our day. 3) Lunch: The tour includes a stop for lunch at a fantastic venue with a wide variety of food. As a pescetarian traveling with a meat lover (Dave), we always struggle to find places to eat. Toku took us to the perfect spot that catered to both of our diets. As a bonus, it was next to a souvenir shop, which provided a perfect end to the tour. 4) Transportation: We visited the north of the island, which requires about a two-hour drive from Naha City Center. While that might sound long, Toku filled the journey with insights and fun conversation, making the time fly by. The absolute highlight, was our trek into the "Spirits Forest." The forest is a powerful, sacred, and deeply captivating place. Everything is exceptionally well-organized and maintained. It is one of the most magnificent, sacred natural sites we have ever visited, and it is easy to see why it is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Thank you very much, Toku. Tatsuya was very kind informative host. Good communication, prompt arrival. The time saved on public transport is worth it to tick off multiple attractions. His car is spacious and in the 34 degree days ice cold air con. He made us feel welcomed and comfortable and we enjoyed our full day with his services, I would recommend it to people who are short on time, or travelling to further out destinations.
