Here's a perfect tour for those who want to explore Japanese hot architectures in one day!
All three buildings visited on this tour are designed by Kengo Kuma.
Kengo Kuma is a leading architect in Japan who is known for working on many Japanese-style buildings using plenty of wood.
We'll start from National Stadium, the 2020 Tokyo Olympic was held, and then move to Kagurazaka to visit the most fashionable shrine in Japan :)
Shibuya station or your hotel
Please let me know where is suitable for you as our meeting point.
If your hotel is around Shibuya station or that in Shinagawa Ward, Minato Ward, I can pick you up at your hotel.
I apologize for my inconvenience, but if you are staying at a hotel other than those above, see you at Shibuya station.
This tour will take you to the stadium's exterior and the garden corridor called "Sora no Mori."
You can see Mt. Fuji if the weather is good.
Optional choice:Please let me know in advance if you would like to take an internal tour that can visit the athlete locker rooms, track and other areas of the stadium normally off-limits to the public.
We will mainly use public transportation, so please let me know if your group has someone who prefers not to walk a lot.
A stylish shrine popular for achieving good relationships, etc.
You can get a original lucky charm and correct red ink stamp which is a certificate of the visit to a shrine.
Please note: photography by professional photographers within the shrine grounds and all activities to earn revenue (Youtube, etc.) is prohibited.
This building was originally a warehouse and was renovated in 2014 by Kengo Kuma.
Now here is a lifestyle shop that sells selected rice from all over the country, rice accompaniments that go well with rice, soup stock, and other foods, as well as tableware.
