“Shizuko is the best”
Shizuko-san gave us the best tour of Tokyo. Her knowledge of the area gave us the ability to see many places all in one day. She has a deep knowledge of the history and provided insights of even small details such as pointing out the meaning of the guardians of temples facial expressions. She was very accommodating to our last minute change of plans. There is no way we could have seen all we saw or learned the history by ourselves. My wife and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a tour of Tokyo.

Dear Paul-san, such a great review wo arigatoh gozaimasu. Totemo ureshiidesu. I’m so glad to receive it. I am really happy to know that you have enjoyed Tokyo tour. I was surprised that you were so good at Japanese. It was amazing you know a short samurai's sword is called ”Wakizashi 脇差”, because I didn't expect you know this Japanese word. For samurai, a short sword (脇差) is not only a weapon, but also show the status and dignity of samurai. How about sightseeing by yourselves without a guide? I hope you are already familiar with Japan and enjoy travelling around other cities freely. Please continue to enjoy your trip in Japan to the fullest. Thank you again for having me as your guide. I myself enjoyed very much guiding and talking with you during the tour. Best regards, Shizuko

“Shizuko went ABOVE and BEYOND!”
From the moment we met Shizuko she was easy to get along with and we knew we’d have a fantastic day in Tokyo. She messaged me on WhatsApp before she arrived. She provided me with a map of the Tokyo metro along with maps of Ginza and detailed instructions on how to reach all the spots we had tickets for on the days we weren’t with her. If it wasn’t for her, we would’ve been lost in the labyrinth that is the underground. She explained everything very thoroughly, circled spots on the map and wrote our excursion names at the corresponding metro spots. I pretty much mastered the Tokyo metro because of her extremely detailed and very thorough instructions. We covered a lot of ground with her and she provided customs and historical information at sites she took us to. She planned a sushi spot for our lunch so we weren’t standing around figuring out where to go for a party of 8. We were very happy with the sushi. She adjusted timing as needed when we wanted to stop to shop a bit. She even took us to get SUICA cards for the kids and helped us get 48-hour metro tickets for the duration of our time in Tokyo. This was something above and beyond what I expected a guide to do. Even after we parted ways, she messaged every day we were in Tokyo and even called one day to ensure we knew how to get to our excursions, took pictures of what to look for, altered directions as needed, etc. As I mentioned she went way above and beyond. She was STELLAR and it provided us such a great start to our first visit to Japan! We loved our time with Shizuko and HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for a great guide experience in Tokyo! And her English was great! She also took many pictures of us and for us and sent them all via WhatsApp soon after we departed! I cannot say enough great things about her. BOOK HER and look no further!

Dear Zalina, Thank you very much for your great and heart felt review for me. I’m really glad to receive it. I’m so happy to know that you were able to get to TeamLab, Ginza Mitsukoshi Aquarium, Tokyo Red Tower Digital Adventure and many other places by yourselves on your free days in Tokyo. It’s amazing that you really understood/mastered Tokyo’s transportation network well and worked as a leader of the group of 8 people including 3 small children. My ideal guide is that everyone, who participate my tour, can freely enjoy Tokyo sightseeing by themselves after the tour. Before starting the tour, I thought that the little children would be a little tired because of the walking distance, but no way, they were more energetic than adults. By the way, how was Osaka? Did you try Tako-yaki (Octopus balls)? Osaka has full of charms that are different from Tokyo, and other cities as well. If you have a chance, please visit Japan again in the future. It was really nice meeting all of you !!! Thank you again, I was encouraged with your review very much. Kind regards, Shizuko

Shizuko is the kindest guide you could get. Knowledgeable, attentive, patient and just overall lovely. She tailored the itinerary exactly to our liking and even catered to our diet restrictions. Thank you for today, Shizuko, a most memorable and wonderful day in Kamakura.

Dear Tana, Thank you very much for sending me such a heartfelt review. I’m so glad to received it. I felt so happy that you’re interested in Japanese history, culture and tradition and enjoyed the Kamakura tour. Another amazing thing that surprised me was your husband is a professional golfer of the PGA America. It was really an honor to meet him. Please enjoy visiting various places and having many nice experiences the rest of your trip in Japan. Thank you very much for hiring me as your guide in Kamakura. Best regards, Shizuko
