The town of ISE is known as a home of Japanese Shintoism among Japanese.
This tour covers the highlights of ISE which are two Grand Shrines, Naiku (Inner Shrine), Geku (Outer Shrine) and Okage-Yokocho, an old atmosphere shopping district.
The tour mainly focuses on the history, religion and foods of ISE, and so you get to learn the unique way of the local lives.
At ISESHI train station (JR Side Exit)
"Iseshi" is the train station of JR-Sangu Line.
Please meet me at JR Side Exit of Iseshi station.
If you catch Kintetsu line to this station, walk over and use JR side Exit to exit the station.
After meeting with the tour guide, do a welcome briefing.
Tour starts and walk to Geku Shrine first.
Catching a local bus at the entrance of Geku Shrine and off to Naiku.
Bus fare is ¥390 per person.
Visiting Naiku Grand Shrine.
Tour guide will explain about the significance of this Shrine and the Japanese's religious perspectives.
