Meet at Tsuchiura Station for a tour through the city’s rich history. Start at a park that used to be the site of a castle, and see some of the old shops that remain. Wander through the park, visit a museum, and enjoy the view from a restored turret. Before returning to the station, explore one of the historic shops and have lunch at a renovated kura café, or pick up food at the station for a picnic in the park. On the way back, also you can buy domestic soy source or other souvenirs.
