Estación de Kanazawa (Puerta Tsuzumimon) u Hotel
Santuario Oyama
El Santuario de Oyama es famoso por su torre única con vidriera. Este santuario sintoísta está dedicado al primer señor feudal de esta región, Toshiie Maeda. También cuenta con un jardín hermoso.
Castillo de Kanazawa
El Castillo de Kanazawa era la residencia de los señores feudales, la familia Maeda durante casi 300 años. Aquí se puede ver unas estructuras elegantes del castillo, como muros de piedra, torres de vigilancia y puertas, así como el jardín Gyokuseninmaru.
Jardín Kenrokuen
El Jardín Kenrokuen es uno de los tres jardines más bonitos de Japón. Fue construido hace más de 300 años por el señor feudal Maeda. Aquí se puede disfrutar de pinos bonitos, arroyos de agua y faroles de piedra en cualquier época del año.

(A) Barrio de Samurai
En el Barrio de Samurai, vamos a entrar en la casa histórica de Nomura. Era la residencia de los samurais de alto rango. El jardín de esta casa obtuvo dos estrellas en la Guía Michelin. Además, hay un pequeño museo con espadas, pergaminos y otros artículos reales de los samurais.
(B) Barrio de Geisha
En el Barrio de Geisha, vamos a entrar en la casa histórica de Shima y aprender sobre la cultura de las geishas. Además, Kanazawa es conocida por sus artesanías tradicionales, y aquí se puede comprar unos artículos de artesanía local y alimentos.

“Perfect day in Kanazawa!”
Sachi took us on an amazing tour of beautiful Kanazawa. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we did. We ate in a fabulous small family owned restaurant and the food was a masterpiece! We rode the bus and walked everywhere. We were blown away by the sheer beauty of Kenroken gardens. Then Sachi arranged for us to participate in a tea ceremony in the geisha district. The whole day was truly memorable. Sachi is a fantastic guide, very diligent and enthusiastic. If you are lucky enough to visit Kanazawa, spend the day with Sachi! Thank you!

Had a wonderful day with Sachi touring Kanazawa - on our very first trip to Japan! Visited several historical areas - ending at Kanazawa Castle and the amazing Kenrokuen Garden.
