We had our original guide come down with a fever the day before our tour. Fortunately for us, Ai had her day cancelled and we were able to connect for a tour. We were not looking for one of her normal tour packages, but within the course of a couple of hours we had a custom tour together and day planned. Ai was wonderful with suggestions, jokes, and conversation throughout the day. She matched our pacing and times and really helped us enjoy our day. Thanks again!
Dear Shane, his wife and son, Thanks for having me and writing me an excellent review. I really enjoyed visiting Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, sharing our thoughts at the museum about WWⅡ, and traveling to the scenic Miyajima Island for the first time after the pandemic. I still remember every single episode, such as we rushed to catch our ship having ice creams on our hands, had local oyster lunch twice, and did souvenir shopping surrounded by dear. Should you have any questions about Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, Kobe, Tokyo and/or Japan in general; feel free to send me a message at anytime in the future. I hope to see you again in Japan and/or in LA. Thank you very much once again. We had a wonderful time and I would never forget the beautiful sunset behind the huge vermillion floating Torii gate that we saw together at Itsukushima Shrine, one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites. your guide and photographer, Ai A
We enjoyed our visit to Himeji castle and its nearby gardens. Ai is a most enthusiastic host. Thank you, Bruce and Hedi.
Dear Bruce and Hedi, Thanks for having me. I really enjoyed visiting Himeji Castle and Kokoen Garden for the first time after the pandemic, and liked nice eel lunchbox that you chose for us. Your curiosity for every single pillar and decoration in the main keep and eyes on small creatures and plants, such as red "Nanjing" fruits in the "syakkei(borrowing the scenary)" garden, made me redefine the significance of sightseeing and the meaning of happiness in life. Should you have any questions about Japan in general; feel free to send me a message at anytime in the future. I wish you are enjoying the rest of your stay back in Kyoto, and hope to see you again in Japan and/or in Sydney. We had a wonderful time and I really appreciate this memorable drive. Thank you very much once again. your guide and photographer, Ai A
We had a great time visiting Osaka aquarium Kaiyukan with Ai. Not only did she provide great stories and useful information about Osaka and the aquarium, she took a lot of really beautiful pictures that will help us to remember our time there. I would highly recommend Ai as a tour guide.
Dear Eric and his family members, Thanks for having me. For me, our tour was the first time in three years to serve as a government-licensed tour guide interpreter and a professional photographer after the post-COVID 19 world, which made me realize that I do love what we have done together. It was my great pleasure to go to an aquarium, Kaiyukan, and enjoy local Okonomiyaki pancake lunch with your cute and polite daughter and smart mother. Also, I'm glad to know that you liked the pictures that I took yesterday. Should you have any questions about Osaka, Kyoto, and/or Japan in general; feel free to send me a message at anytime in the future. Enjoy the rest of your stay in my hometown and the Castle visit that I couldn't escort you and your family due to another reservation. However, I hope to see you, your mother, your wife, and daughters, brothers in Japan and/or in the US again. Thank you very much once again. We had a wonderful time in Tempozan, Osaka Bayarea, and I really appreciate this precious opportunity. your guide and photographer, Ai A
I contacted Ai in early December about a one-day tour of Kyoto with a list of top choices for a customized trip for my group of five (myself, my two young adult children, and their two young adult friends). She got back to me right away with a proposed itinerary and the suggestion that we hire a private car and driver for the day. Ai responded quickly to all my questions during the planning period and met us at our hotel right on time on the day of the tour. Since it was raining on the morning of our tour day, and one of our proposed destinations was closed for the new year's holiday, she suggested some changes to our itinerary, which worked out perfectly. We had a wonderful day visiting Nishiki Market, the Golden Pavilion, Ryoan-Ji Temple, Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, and Kyoto Station. Hiring the van was well worth the extra expense -- we couldn't possibly have done as much using public transportation, and our driver was extremely professional. At the end of the day, Ai even returned to our hotel with me and my kids while we picked up our luggage and walked with us to find our evening train to Tokyo! Ai is kind, friendly, and very knowledgeable. She also sent us a link to all the wonderful pictures she took during our day together. I couldn't have asked for a better guide for our day in Kyoto!
Dear Virginia, Thanks for having me. It was very fun to enjoy my hometown Kyoto with you, your children, and their friends. Hope to see all of you again next time you come back to Japan. Since Japan will host Tokyo Olympics this summer and World Expo in Osaka in 2025, it would be a good opportunity to come back by a cruise ship so that your husband can join us. Thank you very much once again. your guide, photographer, and new friend, Ai
