Not knowledgeable and poor Ebglish

Her English was pretty poor. She gave next to no informarion, and had difficulty understanding and answering questions. Basically all she did was guide us around without giving any additional information. We got more info from our guidebook.

Thank you for your feedback to our Osaka City tour, I apologize that our tour is not as you expected. For your complain about my hard-to-understand explanation through the tour, I surely note this down and make it better in the future. And the fact that I missed the introduction about the spots probably limits your chance to understand Osaka, which is out of my control at times. Please accept my apologies to the inconvenience caused. I will try to improve it step by step to make it better in the future. Thank you for your comment.

Layover tour

I had a 15hr layover at KIX and wanted to explore Osaka. Yuri was able arrange a wonderful tour for me and showed me many different areas of Osaka. Yuri met me at the airport when my flight arrived and helped me back to where I needed to check in for my departure flight. Yuri was very friendly and loved sharing her knowledge of Osaka. I would highly recommend Yuri as a guide.

Excellent Guide

Our Nara tour with Yuri went very well. She was able to share nice insights about the temples we've visited. Our tour was also cost-effective considering that she brought us to free museums within Nara. We also enjoyed the Mechanical Toy Museum where my 11 yr. old daughter had the time to play and learn the logic or process of certain toys. We also loved exploring a tradional Japanese house. The walk in Nara park was my daughter's favorite where she got the chance to interact with the deers and feed some. It was overall an awesome Nara tour! Thanks to our guide Yuri :-)

Dear Anna, Thank you very much for sending me such a generous review. I also very much enjoyed the days I spent with you and your daughter. I look forward to meeting you again in the future. All the best, Yuri

Thank you for a great trip

Yuri was hardworking, friendly, and modest. She was always prompt when she responded to my queries. More importantly, thanks to her organizational skills, I was able to visit an impressive number of sites in Kyoto. I have also learned much about Japanese customs and culture from her. I really appreciate that she traveled from Nara to be my tour guide in Kyoto. Thank you so much for all your help.

Dear Hung-yok, I highly appreciate your amazing review. It was surely my pleasure to have served you all as a guide. I had a wonderful time spending with you for three days. You have a large stock of knowledge about Japanese history. I also learned a lot from you. Thank you so much again. Yuri

Walking along historical trail of Nara(1):Samurai road

Nara
4.5 hours

Walking along historical trail between Nara and Yagyu where was used to be the mecca of swordsmanship "Kenjyutu" during Edo era. As Yagyu family was a leader of Yagyu Shinkage Ryu, one of the stile of Japanese swordsmanships, many samurais visited Yagu to learn the skill through the trail. You can enjoy such old trail thinking about samurai who were eager to improve the skill of swordsmanship.

Come with me, certified interpreter-guide, to discover Yoshino, in the South of Nara prefecture! Surrounded by nature and inside mountains, Yoshino is the place to visit especially during the beautiful sakura season, better between April 13~15. But even out season, Yoshino is a high place of History, mostly with the Southern Imperial Court of Japan (14th century).
