There is an academic augment where Yamatai koku was located and not yet settled. As many copper mirrors which were mentioned in the historical book of the Wei Dynasty, were found in the makimuku area. Such scientific finding is the base that Yamatai koku might be located in Makimuku, You might visit Hasihaka tomb which can be the tomb of Himiko.
