Treffpunkt am Bahnhof, gefolgt von einem Rundgang vorbei am neo-manuelinischen Rathaus, dem öffentlichen Garten der Liberdade und dem neo-arabischen Brunnen.
Königspalastes
Besichtigung des Königspalastes von Sintra mit seinen Innenhöfen und Räumen, die mit hispanischen und arabischen Fliesen verkleidet sind. Da der Palast in mehreren Etappen erbaut wurde, beschreibt er die Geschichte Portugals von der ersten Dynastie bis zur Ausrufung der Republik im Jahr 1910. Seine riesigen Schornsteine sind zu einem touristischen Symbol von Sintra geworden.
Stadtzentrum
Spaziergang durch das historische Zentrum von Sintra zum Aussichtspunkt, von dem aus wir einen Panoramablick auf den Nordhang des Sintra-Gebirges haben.
Vila Sassetti
Weiter geht es in Richtung Vila Sassetti, ein schönes Sommerhaus aus dem 19. Jahrhundert inmitten eines üppigen Gartens. In diesem 1,5 Hektar großen Garten voller Farben und Düfte finden wir einen Kameliengarten, exotische Pflanzen, eine Pergola, Wasserleitungen und viele Stufen.

Nach diesem Rundgang und um wieder zu Kräften zu kommen, gibt es nichts Besseres als die Spezialitäten von Sintra zu probieren - die berühmten Gebäckstücke Queijada de Sintra und Travesseiro.
