World Heritage Nikko One Day Tour
On December 2, 1999 (Heisei 11), the 23rd meeting of the World Heritage Committee held in Marrakesh, Morocco, decided that two shrines and one temple (Nikko Toshogu Shrine, Nikkoyama Rinnoji Temple, and Nikko Futarasan Shrine) should be considered. and the shrines and temples of Nikko, which consists of the precincts, was designated as the 10th World Heritage Site in Japan.
