I am an American male bi-lingual (English & Japanese)tour guide based/living in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. I have lived here several decades and I very familiar with the best places to see in Sapporo and outside of Sapporo/ other areas of Hokkaido. I can take you to the standard/well known sightseeing spots as well as "off the beaten path spots" that many overseas guests are unaware of. My tours are fun, on schedule, informative and transportation-wise very timely and smooth. Less time commuting and more time at location enjoying each point of interest. I have many years experience guiding tours in Sapporo and out to other areas of Hokkaido as well. Most of my tours are 1 day tours usually starting at 8 or 9a.m. and concluding at 6p.m. I basically use public transportation(buses, JR trains, and subways). I do own my own personal car and for guided tours with only 1 guest or small groups 2-3 guests, my private car is available for use. Meet up locations is usually at Sapporo Station in the morning but I can arrrange to meet you in the lobby of your hotel if requested. “Highly recommended”

Custom Tour for Biei and Furano was the best decision and high point of our family vacation in Sapporo. We thoroughly enjoyed our custom tour with Asad and I am would reach out to Asad again on my next tour. He is punctual, knowledgeable and accommodative for family requests which can be unexpected at times. In our case we had to make stops for medicine as kids we not keeping too well. Asad knows the area well and took us to the right pharmacy and interacted with the pharmacist in Japanese to get us the right medicine which helped a smoother trip throughout the day. He planned the trip around our dietary requirements and made adjustments on the fly to accommodate deviations. We did not feel rushed at any of our spots and had more than sufficient time to carry out the activities we wanted to do. I highly recommend Asad to anyone looking for a custom tour of the region.

“Family Hokkaido Trip and it was a fantastic tour of Furano and Biei”

Kumiko was the BEST tour guide: her English is excellent, and her knowledge of her home island of Hokkaido is very in-depth. Kumiko's joy and love for her guiding was evident every moment of the day. She joined our family in ice cream making and eating at the Furano Wine and Cheese factory. The pizza there was great, too! When we arrived at Tomita Farm, the weather changed and it was pouring rain. She provided umbrellas for a couple of family members that did not bring one along, so kind and thoughtful. Kumiko is an excellent driver, and we felt safe while staying on our schedule to see everything. She answered our questions, took pictures for us, and laughed along with our family banter in the van. From the online booking experience to the end of our day, it was smooth, easy, and enjoyable all along the way. I WILL absolutely utilize her services again when in Hokkaido. You can count on her to deliver a quality experience; every detail will be covered, and your adventure will be spectacular!
