Mt. Fuji, Hakone, & Lake Ashi - One Day Tour from Tokyo

You visit some major spots in Hakone from Tokyo. You will enjoy seeing a breathtaking beautiful Mt.Fuji from Lake Ashi and other sites. You will also enjoy a lot of transportation, such as Shinkansen bullet train, cable car, rope way, mountain train, Hakone Tozan Railway, and visit Owakudani, Lake Ashi, Hakone Shrine, and other sightseeing sites. You are able to add hot spring as a tour course, if you would like to soak in a hot spring, since Hakone is a hot spring resort area.

Meeting Point
At your hotel lobby in Tokyo
A guide meets you at your hotel lobby in Tokyo (take Shinkansen bullet train)
We get on Shinkansen bullet train.
Odawara Station
We get off the Shinkansen bullet train at Odawara station and change to Hakone Tozan Railway.
Hakoneyumoto station
We get on Hakone Tozaen Railway and Hakone Ropeway.
While getting on the Hakone Tozan Railway and Hakone Ropeway, you can enjoy seeing the beautiful nature scenery.
Owakudani
You get off the Hakone Ropeway at Owakudani.
Owakudani is the only place in Hakone where volcanic activity can still be seen. You can enjoy seeing it.
Lunch by Lake Ashi at Togendai port
You can enjoy lunch while watching the scenery of Lake Ashi.
Lake Ashi (Pirate ship)
We get on board a pirate ship. You are able to see very beautiful Mt.Fuji form Lake Ashi and enjoy seeing the beautiful scenery around Lake Ashi.
Hakone Shrine
You will enjoy seeing and walking around Hakone Shrine. Hakone Shrine is a Shinto Shrine. You will know about the Japanese religion, Shinto or Shintoism. You will also know about the difference between Shintoism and Buddhism.
Odawara station
We get on Shinkansen bullet train.
Back to your hotel in Tokyo or a place where you would like to break up in Tokyo. (It will depend on you.)

Hi, I am Shinya, a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter. I was born in Tokyo and brought up there. I have lived in Tokyo for more than 40 years. Since I am a Tokyoite, I am able to give you precious information about places which are not written on ordinary guide books. I would like to support you to make your trip in Japan much more fun and wonderful! I want to make you smile, surprise and happy throurgh the tour!
One of my favorite things to do is to see architecuture designed by famous architecs, such as Kuma Kengo, and Ando Tadao. I also like to see art works, such as paintings, Ukiyoe woodblock prints, and tea bowls, and something like that.
Lastly, I love tennis very much. I have been playing tennis for more than 40 years! I also love to watch tennis game! I have visited Melbourne in Australia to see the Australinan Open Tennis in 2020 just before Corona Pandemic. I visited New York to see the U.S. Open Tennis last summer in 2023.

Shinya is an amazing man! From the beginning, he was quick to communicate and created a 2 day itinerary that fit what we were looking for. We had the pleasure of having Shinya as our guide for the Mt. Fuji, Hakone, and Lake Ashi one-day tour from Tokyo, and he truly made the experience unforgettable! When we said yes, he took us to a fantastic spot by Lake Ashi with the most delicious cheesecake and the best soft serve we've ever had. “Incredible experience!”
