The gate of Hasedera Temple in Kamakura
I visited Hasedera Temple on Tuesday when it was fine despite the rainy season. What I want to see was a scenic beauty where hydrangeas were in full bloom. What I actually saw was just as expected. The temple is called flower temple as well as the paradise of pure land of Kamakura. In the precinct, there are many kinds of flowers throughout the year. The legend of the main image, the eleven-headed Kannon Bodhisattva is interesting. This temple is the fourth station of the 33 holy places in Bando or the Kanto region, so many pilgrims visit there. In my tour, Kamakura History & neighboring area excursion, this temple is a destination after the great Buddha. Why don't you join me?
