“Thank you Dan-san”
Didn’t know what to expect, but what a fun day. I’m new to Japan and was looking for something to do. Dan it only knew the area well but was able to point me in the direction of many other local gems. Very knowledgeable of the surrounding area and seems to have this place figured out. Twice on our tour we were stopped by families from the area. The kids wanted to say hello to Dan-san like a local celebrity. Appears he has been a local favorite for some time now. I recommend Dan for anyone visiting Japan on vacation or recently relocated on a more log term program. Knows the area well, willing to go above and beyond to make your visit/stay more enjoyable. Looking forward to him adding tours in the future to this app.

“Chiaki is a fantastic guide”
Chiaki went far beyond expectations, helping us out with the shortage of Suica / Pasmo cards, sorting out an excellent itinerary and recommending great restaurants - even helping with our onward travels. Friendly, efficient and highly knowledgeable, she made our first 2 days in Tokyo a great experience and set us up to be confident in getting around. Chiaki was very well prepared and dealt with our eccentricities with grace and patience. 100% recommended, she has great experience of all areas of Tokyo and can deal with all eventualities. Thank you Chiaki!

(77 reviews)Dear John, thank you so much for posting a lovely comment! It was great to hear what you felt about my tour. Like the tea ceremony we had, I cherished the two days with your family as once in a life time opportunity. Hope your sore throat will be better soon and all of you enjoy the trip to the west side of Japan. Please send my best wishes to Sue and your beautiful daughters. Arigato John!
“A Full Day Outing with Takako”
Overall, wonderful experience with Takako. She was very accommodating from initial messaging to the day of. We provided her with a few locations and she helped us plan the day. She arrived promptly in the morning and met us at our hotel lobby, even though it was raining! While we had a set itinerary, she was flexible. We went to several places including the famous Tsukiji fish market, which we ended up staying much longer than anticipated! We were also trying to chase cherry blossoms, which thanks to Takako we were able to spot a handful. We appreciated Takako knowledge, patience and kindness! She even stayed with us past her agreed upon time. Thank you very much Takako!

Unfortunately in Asakusa the shop of Melon Bread moved to somewiere. After that I hoped you could find the bread in new place and enjoyed the melon bans. Thanks and see you again Takako
